Green Mountain Falls is a small mountain town community with a lot of history. It features a small fishing pond in the city center close to three restaurants. Many trail heads speckle the mountainside. Close to Colorado Springs and Woodland park for convenience, but tucked away to feel like you are walking back in time to a quiet mountain experience. Notes to take into account: --October-May we can have snow storms. Please be aware you may need 4-wheel drive. Check the weather for Green Mountain Falls as it can be very different from Colorado Springs. --We are also in a forest fire area, so fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control. This may mean not being able to use certain fire features or our grill. We will try to let you know during your stay if there is high fire danger and what cannot be used. --Limber Pines doesn't have A/C, but at this elevation you don't need it!
