Great location and big property.
Kids loved the pool and overall is was a nice stay. Beds were comfortable and the property has a blocked road out front that meant kids could ride scooters etc safety. The home is literally across from the beach - didnt realise how close it was. Its not near the patrolled part so we didnt fully swim there but the kids enjoyed running in the rough waves and collecting shells. Bonus is at the end of the street there is a coffee shop with soughdough you can easily walk to!
We plan to stay again, its location and size was very accommodating and the pools a great addition to a relaxed getaway.
The following areas would benefit from being addressed:
The blinds, window seals and door tracks etc were very dirty - the sheer blinds on the doors are mouldy and need a wash/replacement. You can tell these areas havent been cleaned for sometime.
The front door is really fiddly to lock and took time to work out each time we left.
The quilts between the sheets had stains.
With such a big home catering to a large group, it really needs more coffee cups and cutlery etc. The BBQ was very dirty and the fry pans need replacing.
Dishwaters didnt work properly so we had to hand wash them, the vacuum had no suction and pretty much useless so we had to sweep everything.
Kettle just kept boiling and didnt switch off automatically - needs replacing.
All easy fixes but worth mentioning.

House was massive. We loved that we had so many different rooms and dining / lounging spaces to spread out or come together, which fit loads of people. Plenty of bathrooms / showers / toilets to use which meant we never had to wait for others. The whole house, despite having so many windows, felt really private but light, thanks to the light curtains & blinds. Really lovely soft furnishings and colour theme had a stylish, relaxing coastal vibe. Main tv room was so comfy and warm for our winter stay - we also loved the extra blankets in this room for snuggling under for a movie night. Beautiful views of the beach on one side and pool on the other. Plenty of room in the garage to park our large hire car. Was a short drive to local amenities (shops, cafes) and the ferry to Newcastle.
Dishwasher was a bit small for the large plates. We found the kitchen sink plug, some glasses, cutlery and crockery a bit unclean and needed to wash these again on arrival. Kitchen bins also need a good scrub. A couple of ceiling lights were out in the entrance lounge and one of the bedroom lamps didn't work.

The view and sound of the ocean was a highlight. Very spacious for the family has a whole
Could have been a bit cleaner. Window seals in the rooms dirty and cobwebs around.
