Honestly, this is the best place to stay in Midyat. 5 of us came from the UK and we booked a stay for 6 nights. We’ve been very happy here and couldn’t have asked for more. The helper Katibe and her husband welcomed us warmly when we arrived. They had made us tea and bought us a variety of essentials we’d need for our stay and more. It’s hard to put into words just how much hospitality we’ve experienced here. Mehmet, the owner of the home, has also been very kind and attentive. He has messaged us regularly to check if we need anything, and if we have any questions or concerns, his responses are very swift. The location is great too, close to most of the main sights, and the neighbours are extremely kind. I have no complaints at all. I’m writing this the night before my last night here, and I’m already sad about having to leave. If you want to experience the real Midyat and be welcomed like family, I would definitely recommend staying here. Thank you to Mehmet, Katibe, and her husband for everything. I will definitely be back.
