Clean and well located, this is suitable for a wide range of travellers, from backpackers to families, and a short walk from the main centre of Cholpon-Ata. Excellent value for money.

Гостеприимство: Персонал и хозяева очень вежливые, любые вопросы решают мгновенно.
Чистота: Везде чисто, ничего лишнего, всё очень аккуратно и на своих местах.
Кухня: Еда невероятно вкусная, по-домашнему!
Расположение: До озера совсем близко, максимум 10 минут ходьбы. Зато пешком прогуляться полезно

The room I was eventually given was clean and comfortable, with a private shower and toilet. The owner kept the original price I had booked, even though prices in Cholpon-Ata had gone up sharply for the World Nomad Games. He answered questions on WhatsApp and sent photos and a video of the room in advance.
Two days before arrival I was told the guesthouse had no rooms available. I was then told my reservation had been cancelled because I had not paid a 50% deposit. I had asked on 21 August what payment method they accept, as a foreign traveller without a Kyrgyz bank account, and never received an answer. My booking still showed as confirmed in the Booking.com app throughout. On arrival I was moved to a different guesthouse about 200 m away, which is not listed on Booking.com. I was also reported as a no-show for 1 September, although I arrived as planned.
