Each feature a King size bed, private EN suite bath, private porch, and kitchenette. The King Charles Suite Our very spacious accommodations provide individual climate controls, ceiling fans, kitchenette, breakfast / workspace. We have super high-speed Wi-Fi 400 Mbps as well as wired internet connection via an Ethernet cable at the breakfast / workspace. The smart TVs are equipped with 4K Dolby Vision, UHD, free Netflix, and Prime Video included. TVs are also hard wired to the internet (No Buffering) The King Bed Your restful sleep begins with the Westin Heavenly Bed Experience. Enjoy 10 layers of pure comfort on your custom pillow top mattress. Layered with 100 % Egyptian cotton pressed sheets, plush pillows, and imported blankets from Portugal, of seasonal weight. Finished with a King Charles Matelassé Coverlet. Linens and towels cleaned with Arm & Hammer Free and Clear / Sensitive Skin no dyes or perfume. Special Requests Encouraged. Guests have access to the main porch, foyer, the gardens, and their own guest Suite with private porches. We loved our stay at this inn— old world comfort and charm with modern luxury and hospitality—beautifully and thoughtfully appointed rooms, with just the right amenities—coffee and tea, luxe hotel bathrobes, ironed sheets, and the vintage candy dish. Clean, quiet and comfortable, and just a short walk from the center of town. With friends close by, we look forward to our next visit… or I could just move in…

This property was absolutely gorgeous! It was decorated beautifully with the owner’s own artwork; everything was super clean; and the space was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large with a great shower and oversized countertop to accommodate all my toiletries; the bed was nice and comfy; the large porch was a treat: and Richard thought of every detail - from makeup remover to honey for my tea to bedside clocks with built-in ports for cellphone chargers. The kitchenette was a nice treat too with a mini fridge, coffee pot, microwave, bottled water, etc. The grounds were beautifully manicured as well; there was ample parking; and several restaurants and shops within a 10-minute walk. I loved my stay here and would recommend to everyone. I hope to return! Thanks, Richard, for a lovely getaway.

The home is beautiful. Richard had every accommodation you could think of. We felt very special and the design of the home was perfect for our getaway. Walking distance to shops and local restaurants easy and the”tequila real” had the best t-bone entree ever! Thank you for the recommendation Richard!

We loved loved loved our stay in this stunning home. We stayed in the King Charles suite, which was equipped with everything we needed. The private balcony was the perfect spot to sip wine at the end of a long day. The sheets were so nice and comfortable. We look forward to staying here again!

Immediately walking in, Richard was kind and attentive and had such a warmth about him, it made the property feel like home—it was extremely clean, and Richard went above and beyond to make us feel special and welcome throughout our stay. It was close to Lewes and Rehoboth, and Milton was a great town with amazing locals and good eats and brews. Cannot recommend this enough—it’s a beautiful getaway and perhaps the nicest place I’ve ever stayed!

The Charleston is located in a quiet and peaceful residential area in Milton, De, a charming little town. The inn is gorgeous. It was designed by the owner, Richard Siess, and every detail is perfect. Richard is also an artist and his beautiful paintings grace the walls. Richard is very accommodating and easily accessible. I can't remember when my husband and I were as comfortable and slept so well away from home. Truly a delightful experience!

We loved this property! Richard is a great host and the property itself is beautiful and comfortable. We came to visit friends in Milton and we loved being right in town. Milton is a charming little town and it’s close to Lewes, Rehoboth, and the beaches, but it’s quiet and peaceful. I’d recommend the Charleston House of Milton to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at The Charleston of Milton Inn! Richard was so accommodating and his Inn is absolutely beautiful. We loved having our coffee on the balcony every morning and exploring Milton and Lewes. Milton has great restaurants and a lovely downtown to explore. We are very picky when it comes to accommodations and Richard’s Inn exceeded are expectations! Not only was our suite immaculately clean and decorated, but even the sheets were ironed! The second floor apartment was spotless, beautifully furnished with a large patio with comfortable seating overlooking the garden. Several sitting areas. Beautiful bathroom. Kitchen has small fridge, microwave, coffee maker and toaster.

We give this property 10 stars. It was a beautiful place with comfortable accommodations. A short drive to the local beach area and about 1/2 hour to Rehoboth Beach. Walking distance to town for food, and ice cream shop around the corner or just a stroll before heading back to sit on your private veranda for a relaxing evening.

Calming Environment and a relaxing stay!
If you are looking for a beautiful place to stay that is off the beaten path and close to so many fun activities then look no further than The Charleston! My wife and I stayed here for the first time and it was amazing! The room was gorgeous and the ambiance was calming and gave you a good beach vibe. It was 30 minutes from many different beaches and within walking distance to ice cream and good food!!

My husband and I Had a wonderful experience. We were in Delaware for a family function. Richard and the Charleston provided us the perfect place to just relax and enjoy the summer weather.

This is an absolutely amazing place! My Husband and I rent quite often to get away for long weekends and vacations. We have see many places and have met many owners. This I must see, must stay place. The owners are top notch, very accommodating and ready to make your stay enjoyable. They recently built this home that is just so beautiful and full of Southern Charm, you will not be able to stop looking at the architecture of how every detail was so thought out and made perfect. It gives you a warm feeing of comfort to experience. The place is spotless, roomy and they supply you with everything you need for your stay. Big Tile Bathrooms, Big Comfortable Beds, Large Balconies and a Perfect Sized Kitchen that supplies you with everything you need to make you feel at home. They really have thought of everything, and I mean everything,
for a relaxing unforgettable stay . Richard was an amazing host, very intelligent, funny and wants to make your stay perfect. He is super friendly and has a great personality and so much charm. ( He is an amazing artist as well, check out the paintings...this is such a great place). You almost feel like you have gone back in time, with the Deep South Mansion, the Beautiful Yard and Garden, and of course the Hospitaly.....so relaxing and genuine. You will be missing out if you don't stay here and enjoy this place and the owners. It is a one-of- a- kind experience!!! We will be back every time we go to this area! My Husband and I Love....Love....Love...this place! Enjoy it, you deserve it. Oh, and the little town is really cool too. the people are really friendly. only a few miles to Rehoboth Beach.
