Scott and Lee were exceptional hosts and were down straight away when we had a problem with the tv.
When we arrived back at the cottage after our evening out it was fixed and gave us no further problems during our stay.
The village was beautiful, the village shop was very useful and the fish and chip shop was excellent.
Also the games room and hot tub were a good addition and would be very good for a family to use.
The stairs were very steep which is to be expected from an older property, however, they didn't give us any real problems.
It was a pity that the local pub was closed for renovation, as it would have been nice to meet some of the locals.

A lovely little cottage with extras that make your stay easier! The hot tub and the games room were a massive hit!! The garden is lovely and big too and it was great to have your own private parking! We were over visiting family in the area so will definitely be back! The kids are missing it already!! Thanks for a great stay! :)
There were a couple of banged heads (mainly myself) but we are a tall family! The low door frames and ceilings wouldn't put me off coming back though as this is what makes the property! Also the stairs wouldn't be suitable for everyone but we quite liked them!

The details about the property are economical with the truth. They do not state that the staircase to the 2 bedrooms in the house has very narrow treads which present a considerable risk when descending or that the staircase is probably inaccessible to the physically challenged. Indeed, I think the staircase would not satisfy current building regs. They do not state that the 3rd bedroom is in a converted building on the far side of the yard, without any water or toilet, so requiring occupants to cross the yard into the house in the middle of the night, if they need to visit the bathroom. The keys for this 3rd bedroom are not labelled, so we had difficulty locating it. The mattress on the double bed is far too soft. There is no provision to make coffee, other than instant. The doorways are very low. A knob on the electric hob is broken. We would not have booked, had we read the reviews beforehand.
