About this apartment rental

The apartment is inside a historic and timbered building that has been fully restored and is adjacent to the former cloister. The central location and unique mixture of historic flair and modern living amenities will make your stay an unforgettable experience.
The newly furnished 3rd floor apartment includes two bedrooms (accessible via separate stairs), a living area, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a bathroom with shower (93 sq meters/1000 sq ft).
Delicious breakfast and super-fast WiFi are included in your reservation.
Parking for one car in a gated area is also included; please let us know if you would like to reserve a parking spot.
Chargers for electric vehicles are available for free.
A washing machine and dryer are available for free in a neighboring building upon request.
The apartment will be fully and exclusively available to you. The staircase is shared with one more apartment. Climbing stairs is required.
We are located on a quiet residential street inside the medieval city walls, right next to the Rothenburg Museum and near the famous St. Jacob's Church. A gate through the old city wall leading directly into the lovely Tauber Valley is within two minutes walking distance.
The entire old city can be explored on foot from the apartment's location. Public transportation outside the city walls include buses and the Rothenburg train station with connections to all major cities.

Host was excellent at communicating. The apartment was very clean and well appointed. It was up 2 long staircases so carry on only is wise. The stairs up to each bedroom from the mail floor are steep also. The kitchen was well appointed if you want to cook. The bathroom is small but nice. The breakfast was more than we expected. Different types of coffee or tea as well as juices. There was a choice of how you wanted your eggs, fresh yogurt, fresh fruit plate, assorted meats and cheeses as well as bread. You won’t leave hungry. The apartment had nice off the street parking. ( rent a small car) The location is very convenient to the old town but quiet as it is off the main square.

We knew Rotenberg was special as soon as we arrived, but this rental made it so special we felt like we really gotta feel for the town. Gorgeous views, cozy, and felt like home.. host, especially responsive and accommodating. We will certainly be back.

First the host was awesome, the place was very clean. Keep in mind it is on the 3rd floor so you have about 5 runs of stairs to drag your luggage up, then the one bedroom with 2 beds has a normal set of stairs to get up to it. the king or master bed on the other side has basically a ladder that you climb. Also keep in mind no A/C so for any Americans coming here look out it is very hot, now to combat that the host has 2 big fans that you can use and you can open the windows. The bathroom is small and odd. the toilet is outside of the bathroom in a tiny room that you really need to open the door to pull your pants back up. On the plus side it is clean the host is very good, it is very close to town square. I will say this may very well be the norm for European STR's so keep all of that in mind. This was night 1 of our big 2 week trip so we will see.
