Die gesamte Anlage war sehr gepflegt, sauber und ansprechend ausgestattet. Es ist himmlisch ruhig dort, sodass man sich wunderbar vom stressigen Arbeitsalltag erholen konnte. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal unglaublich lieb und herzlich. Man wurde immer wieder gefragt, ob man noch Wünsche habe, und insgesamt waren alle Mitarbeitenden sehr freundlich und offen gegenüber den Gästen.
Mein Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, sauber und auf dem neuesten Stand. Besonders schön war die Aussicht auf den Bootssteg. Auch das Fitnessstudio hat mir sehr gefallen – ich habe es häufig genutzt. Der Pool direkt am Strand war ebenfalls sehr schön, und es gab ausreichend Liegen zum Entspannen. An der Poolbar, die ab 10 Uhr geöffnet war, konnte man sich zu fairen Preisen mit Getränken und Snacks versorgen. Auch dort war das Personal außergewöhnlich höflich und freundlich.
Die Kommunikation mit den Hotelbetreibern war hervorragend, und auf Wünsche wurde problemlos eingegangen. Lek, der Concierge vor Ort, hat regelmäßig nach meinem Wohlbefinden gefragt und sofort geholfen, wenn man Unterstützung brauchte.
Wenn ich wieder nach Koh Chang komme, werde ich definitiv erneut hier buchen.
Das Hotel liegt etwas abschüssig von der Hauptstraße. Mit dem Reisebus kommt man da leider nicht hin. Nach Absprache mit dem Hotelbetreiber wurde mir aber schnell geholfen und ich wurde abgeholt. Der Strand ist wunderschön, man kann aber nicht schwimmen, da das Wasser sehr flach ist.

l'accueil de Lek qui est vraiment une personne très à l'écoute et fait tout pour vous aider au petit déjeuner voir la propriétaire vous recevoir un plus je trouve , la grande chambre où tout est pensé il ne manque rien ,la propreté de l'eau tous les jours dans la chambre , la terrasse et la vue superbe bien sur la piscine à débordement le verre sur vous prenez au bord de la piscine avec vue sur l'océan formidable, le personnel tous très bien , un grand merci à tous pour ce séjour ou nous avons vraiment pu nous détendre.

We chose Shambala because this part of the island looked very quiet and the apartments offered seemed comfortable for a reasonable price (in the buildings, there are both private apartments and others belonging to the hotel).
Nothing to complain about the whole service :
large and comfortable apartment (1126) ; nice view from the second floor ; excellent breakfast in the morning.
But it was not the kind of place that we love :
- how sad to have loud music at breakfast when you could just enjoy the natural surroundings of the place !
- we also could hear the music from the bar while seating at our balcony !
And I was very surprised to receive from the owner (through BOOKING) a message the day before we leave, asking if everything was OK. But why nobody on site did ask this ? A real direct relationship would had been far much better.

Very European centered. Even the European woman standing at breakfast. Did not feel much like Thailand.
