The B&B rooms are accessible outside of the pub so though the pub wasn't open when i arrived they had left instructions for me to gain entry. They also let me park my motorcycle in the pub grounds rather than in the car park over the road which you dont often get. I ate in the pub on the evening and have to say, the food was beautiful. I asked for Cottage Pie and waited. Took 20 mins but when it turned up you could tell it was made fresh, on order. It was excellent. Just an 'honest' Cottage pie, no poncing it up with herbs and spices, absolutely perfect. They could feed me that everyday. Breakfast was included in the low price but on this occasion the cooked breakfast was not available so they made me a take out of a Bagette with Crisps, Chocolate and a drink, which again was excellent. The staff throughout were very nice. Banging
The room is fuctional and to be honest what I kind of expected. Nothing fancy, nothing special. Really needs a make over but you generally get what you pay for.

Liked the pub downstairs, good beer garden, staff very pleasant
There was no one there to greet us on arrival, locals served first with meals even though we arrived before them

Friendly staff, hot and plentiful breakfast.
Hot room above the kitchen and flies in the dining room, all of which couldn't be helped in the heatwave conditions.
