The central location was brilliant, right in the heart of Besancon. The loft-style of the accommodation works well and it's great to have two sleeping areas, The mezzanine is relatively private and suited us as 3 adults. There has obviously been a lot of care and thought given to the furnishing of the apartment and the kitchen was clearly good quality.
We appreciated the fan provided in one bedroom and believed that the downstairs bedroom mattress had recently been replaced.
The host didn't respond to our questions prior to arrival, nor to questions during our stay. We only received pre-programmed messages about arrival and departure. The lock on the toilet door was broken and it was impossible to close the door. Two of four dining room chairs were damaged. One wine glass was provided for four people.
Two lightbulbs were not working and unfortunately it was the ones needed most to avoid moving around the apartment in darkness (entrance hall and the top of the stairs to the mezzanine.)
The beds were 160cm mattresses on 140cm bases which meant that the borders of the bed were floppy.
The kitchen was a lovely design and clearly of good quality but the drawers hit the handle of the under sink unit.
Generally it felt that the place lacked a little care and attention to detail.
We stayed during a heatwave and it was unbearably hot, though we felt most top floor accommodation in Besancon would have suffered in the same way.

Es sind 4 Stockwerke hoch ohne lift- da wurde vorher nicht darauf hingewiesen
Es gab keine Handtücher
Das Sofa ist durchgebrochen und nicht brauchbar

Middenin het centrum, alles op loopafstand. Redelijk compleet appartement met wasmachine. Lekker ruim.
Was niet schoon: plukken stof overal. Ligging in het centrum was problematisch bij aankomst: hoe kom je er met de auto / bagage? Daar stond niks over beschreven. Verder vielen de vier etages-met-de-trap erg tegen. Dat er geklommen moest worden was duidelijk, maar 4 verdiepingen?!?
