The host, Charlotte, is lovely – extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful, and nothing was too much trouble. The house is an annex adjacent to a beautiful old presbytery in a quiet Normandy village surrounded by farmland, which gave it a really peaceful and authentic feel.
It was easy to find and very conveniently located for what we wanted to do. We used it as a base for visiting the D-Day and WW2 sites, but there are also plenty of châteaux and other places to visit nearby, with the town of Saint-Lô not far away for shops, restaurants and anything else you might need. The very picturesque town of Bayeux is also only a short drive away.
Secure parking very close to the house was also a real bonus. The accommodation itself is quite simple, but comfortable, homely and perfectly adequate for everything we needed during our four-night stay. In fact, the slightly rustic feel suited our Normandy trip rather well!

Comfortabele bedden, fatsoenlijke oven, ligbad en fijne douche met prima waterdruk. Pingpongtafel hebben we veelvuldig gebruikt. Midden in Normandië dus goed uitgangspunt voor alle bezienswaardigheden.
Filterkoffiezetapparaat was niet schoon en niet geschikt voor 4 volwassenen. Geen kaasschaaf (essentieel voor Nederlanders, dus zelf maar gekocht) en geen scherp mes.

Très bel accueil pour ce gîte au sein d'un ancien presbytère. A proximité des plages du débarquement et de nombreuses activités mais en restant très au calme au cœur du bocage normand. Un grand merci au propriétaire pour leur gentillesse.
Le seul petit regret à formuler est l'absence d'un lave linge.
