Very spacious . Lovely location
The house was extremely cold when we arrived.at 4.00 pm on December 20th. The Thermostat was set at only 5 degrees and the radiators were turned off. Also, although logs were provided for the open fire they were wet.This meant an in comfortable first night although things were more comfortable thereafter

The house was lovely and warm, and nicely furnished.
Very frustrating not being able to contact the owner by any means, to ask questions. Had i known there was no salt and pepper, kitchen roll, tin foil, etc, the weekend would have been even better. NB I did contact Sykes with these questions, and another re car parking. Was told yes there was salt and pepper etc. But VERY unhelpful with the question about car parking - just told it was my responsibility to find out. HOW???

No breakfast was relevant as it was self catering. The house was fair and the location good.
The house is in need of decorating and water stained walls resolving, also the washing machine was full of a considerable amount of black mould around the seal and drum.
The kitchen when any draw or cupboard was opened had a very bad damp odour.
The down stairs shower took about an hour to drain and the plug sump was not blocked. Using the shower would take the water level close to breaching the threshold of the shower tray.
