Loved the location! Truly steps away from everything a first time visitor to Lyme Regis may want to see in the two short days we spent there. We really enjoyed walks to the fossil beach and the water temperature was perfect for a swim. Nice well stocked open kitchen - living room area. Big windows that let the sea breezes in. Pretty bathrooms and very clean. Welcome bag with local treats was a wonderful touch. Hosts John and Kate have really thought of it all.
Only small downside was something the hosts could never address - the sea gulls got loud at all times of the night and day. Must have been nesting season. Eventually it became like white noise and we didn't really notice, but the pre-dawn screeching was wild! Wouldn't keep us from staying there again though! We hope to be back.

Clean , well equipped very central location for both beach and restaurants. Private parking (though short walk away). Superb views over the bay. Very quiet.
Access to the property not great. Shared path is overgrown. Steps to the beach steep and uneven. Stairs to apartment not suitable for everyone.
