Prachtig goed onderhouden kasteel. Erg leuk om daarin te mogen slapen. Heerlijk zwembad erbij . Poolbar waar je je drankjes kan halen. Goed eten bij de Bistro. Heerlijk buiten gezeten . Goed ontbijt .
Oké, inderdaad de drankjes zijn wat aan de prijzige kant. Ik hou er ook niet van in om in een bad te douchen. Maar dit houdt mij niet tegen om er nog eens te gaan slapen! Was echt goed!

Un immense château médiéval , doté d’une piscine immense .
Très beau surtout la nuit . Atmosphère particulière . Nous avons beaucoup aimé . La piscine a elle seule vaut le déplacement! Nous reviendrons certainement pour une étape lors de nos voyages au sud.
Quand on arrive , un peu hors saison comme nous, donne un peu l’impression d’être abandonné , car il n’y avait personne alentours , du à la chaleur probablement. Mais des dedans , on était sous le charme de ce magnifique bâtiment. Le personnel est avenant et le restaurant très bon.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive.
The garden is simply stunning, with gorgeous greenery all around, and the pool area is absolutely beautiful. The whole setting feels peaceful, elegant, and very well cared for.
The food was also excellent, and everything throughout our stay was truly perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this wonderful hotel!
The only negative point I would mention is the limited variety on the restaurant menu. We had already stayed at the hotel in June, and when we returned, the menu was still the same, with only three main dishes to choose from, which feels quite limited.
Unfortunately, there isn’t much choice at the restaurant, and if you stay for more than three days, it becomes quite difficult to have enough variety in your meals. This is particularly noticeable because the hotel is quite isolated, with very few alternative restaurants nearby.
It would therefore be wonderful to see a slightly larger selection of dishes or a menu that changes more regularly, especially for guests staying several days.

Although it says on Booking that they are pet-friendly, we could not have dinner & breakfast in the restaurant with our well-behaved and quiet dog. Even not in a restaurant with nearly no guests. In addition, we had booked a deluxe room but were downgraded one category because of the dog („you don’t have to pay the extra pet-charge“).
