It has been beautifully thought out . We couldn’t have wish for anywhere nicer to spend a few relaxing days . It had everything and Helen was lovely . We will defiently be back soon .

There isn’t anything to not like really. The location is relaxing and quiet, it was beautiful sitting on the swing looking out to the lake. Hot tub was lovely and slightly protected for the night when it rained which was nice. The bed was comfy and we had everything we needed there. Hosts are extremely friendly. The pool table/ games room was an added bonus which we made use of. Would come back. The anchor pub which is practically next door is lovely and defo take a visit to white post farm if you like your animals

Perfect location very quiet we really enjoyed are stay where we stayed was very clean bed was comfy hot tub was great

The place was in a nice area and the view of the river was lovely. Inside had all the facilities needed and the hot tub had a tray which was really handy.
When we arrived, we got there at 3:48PM instead of 4PM and I rang the lady and she was rude to me on the phone saying they don’t let anyone in until 4PM and we would have to wait. This started off the trip on a negative note and I thought she was unnecessarily snappy and rude. She may have just been having a bad day but it wasn’t the warm welcomed we expected from the other reviews. There was some glass next to the front door which my partner stood in and bled from. This may have been unfortunate and the wind has blown it from somewhere but still wasn’t great. On the first night, we didn’t go to bed till about 4AM and we noticed the bed had loads of hairs on it which weren’t ours as we hadn’t been in it. I messaged at that time obviously there was nothing that could happen then and the lady did come round and change it and she was lovely to talk to then. They do hire cleaners so it isn’t necessarily the owners fault however we had to sleep on a blanket for one of our two nights which was just rubbish for saying that’s a big part of a getaway. One of the blankets also had a brown stain on it which we didn’t use as there was two blankets provided.
