About this house rental
Unwind in this great nicely updated cottage across the street from Lake Barkley. Freshened up with love and attention to detail. We kept the unique vintage style and added modern touches like new appliances, new flooring, fresh paint and great coffee/wine drinking screened in patio that will fit the whole family!
Community boat ramp is a 10 min walk.
Easy access to Hwy 68 will lead you to all the wonderful things to do in The Land Between the Lakes. Start with antiquing in historic Cadiz, go to the planetarium or bison prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen and a grill.

This property more than met our expectations!Super clean, the lay-out was nice, the air-conditioning worked great & there were fans in every room! The silverware, dishware & cookware were top-notch! Not to mention all the appliances were top of the line too!Lots of closet space. They thought of everything!I especially enjoyed the screened in patio where the family gathered throughout the day.I loved the scented soap cubes in the bathroom which added a nice fragrance every time I entered the room.If you are looking for home away from home comfort (because the beds were outstanding too!), then this is a great choice & if you fish, Lake Barkley is nice & close.Thank you John & Julie for the family memories we will have for years to come.

This is a very wonderful property located on the land between the lakes. It is up on a hill and allows you to see the sunset and beautiful surrounding views of the lake. The house itself is very clean with plenty of space and a nice back yard. The property is very large and has a big screened in porch. It’s especially nice to sit in this porch as the sun sets. The owners had very good communication and provided plenty of information to make our stay the best possible. We hope to return someday.
