Super Lage: Bars für Aperitivo und Restaurants mit leckerer Pizza etc. um die Ecke, Supermarkt gegenüber, Bushaltestelle für den Bus nach Taormina um die Ecke (Bustickets kann man direkt im Bus kaufen). Das Auto kann man direkt an der Straße parken: einen Parkausweis für das ganze Viertel kann man bei der Polizia Municipale in Giardini-Naxos am Schalter kaufen, kostet 20 Euro für eine Woche.
Durch die zentrale Lage kann es von der Straße her schon auch mal etwas lauter werden, da die Wohnung im Erdgeschoss liegt. Für uns war das aber total in Ordnung. Dafür konnte man alles locker zu Fuß erreichen :-)

Giovanni is a kind owner, helped us with all the questions and request ( extra towel, cleaning material, taxi driver contact, dropping the backpack before the check-in time, easy to reach by message and great English). Big room, a lot of storage space and a well equipped kitchen.
The beach was 1 minute away, the bus stop as well, beautiful clean neighborhood with a lot of nice good restaurants&bars. The area is not so turistic so the prices are reasonable around.
The city has only 2 streets, so there was a bit of noise from the cars befor midnight, but then everything gets calm and quiet.

Quedamos con el propietario para darnos las llaves y entrar al apartamento. Es un studio entero sin paredes entre la cocina y la habitación/cama en la planta baja de una carreterera bastante transitada. La localización esta bien, como lo describen. Nosotros teniamos coche y aparcamos gratis en la calle, pero vigilad con las señales de prohibicion. Hay algun restaurante cerca y supermercado, y con el coche se puede ir a Taormina, isola bella o naxos perfectamente.
Mucho ruido por los coches que pasan por la calle. Podria estar mejor aislada y poner persianas en las ventanas para salir a la calle ya que no es suficiente con las cortinas.
El baño esta correcto pero se le podria hacer alguna mejora como el cajón de la pica que esta roto y sin pintura. También hace bastante ruido cuando te duchas.
La cocina esta con falta de utensilios, solo hay una olla y una sarten, pocos platos y vasos y cubiertos. Podria añadir tostadora, cafetera, bolsas de basura, algun bol, utensilios basicos, sal aceite pimienta, etc. Nosotros por suerte no tuvimos que usarlo mucho pero puede ser un poco incomodo si se quiere cocinar mucho.
Son cosas a cambiar que mejorarian mucho el lugar :)
