My wife and I stayed at this magical resort the last week of October 2026, owned an operated by a Cambodian couple Mi and Li and their extraordinary colleagues, who felt more like an extended family. The resort is built from 100 year old wood from old Cambodian houses and styled to feel like old a Cambodian village. The result is elegant simplicity with a dash of luxury and provides guests with the feeling you are a part of a local village. Sona at the from desk arranged a pick up from the airport and all our temple and floating city tours in advance of our arrival> We had a dedicated private driver (Mr. Borai) and wonderful English speaking guide Li. Mr. Li and Mr. Borai were excellent at driving safely and keeping the tours on time. We had breakfast and snacks made for sunrise Angkor Watt Temple tour in the car, as well as cold towels and water when we finished. A special touch. We felt like we were visiting Cambodia with local friends, who now are friends. Mr. Li paced our tours and educational experiences perfectly. Provided access to things you would never see in a group tour, like a local farmers home and rice paddy. The resorts cook was excellent and service were outstanding. Every person knew our name and was friendly and so helpful and kind. Special thanks to Sona, Sopan, Sokan, Sokum, Pannya, retina, and many others who made our stay magical. We will return and send friends to this wonderful oasis in Siam Reap. The Phum Khmer Lodge was the most friendly and welcoming of all the 5 star resort we stayed at. It may not have been as modern but delivered a level of service and friendliness that is almost impossible to find today, It felt more like staying at a wealthy relatives estate than staying at a hotel. We were also impressed that the owners support local products and businesses. I would highly recommend making your stay in Siam Reap a special one by booking a house at the Phum Khmer Lodge - you won't be sorry!

That we didn't stay for five nights instead of just 3. Five nights would have been the perfect amount of time to see temples, floating city and experience town, while having time to relax around the pool and attend more cooking demonstrations. We packed it all in but would have enjoyed two more days to relax a little bit more.

Secluded place, lush gardens, wonderful swimming pool & bar. Only 6 villas which makes it a very private atmosphere and all in a traditional Khmer village spirit, which is why you choose this place. Villas are very comfortable with all the equipments one needs and very luxurious. And finally the PHUM Khmer lodge staff is so kind, so helpful, they can arrange everything for you in a heartbeat.

I liked the traditional authentic Cambodian touch that the Khmer houses give, as well as the welcoming staff (shout out to Sophann!). The gardens are magical and it's a great place to wind down after a day of tracking the temples

A beautiful, peaceful haven that blends authentic Cambodian village life with modern comfort. The lush surroundings, amazing pool, and excellent food were wonderful, but the exceptional staff truly made the experience unforgettable. Warm, professional, and incredibly accommodating, they went above and beyond to make our family feel welcome.
