The cottage is in a superb location. Right on Burford High Street, right at the centre of the shops and restaurants. The place is huge with everything you need for your stay. The bedrooms are beautiful. Full of light. The beds are so comfortable, I looked forward to climbing into them. Although on the High Street which is very busy with lots of traffic, you couldn't hear any traffic noise in the house. It is also very secure. You have to go through the front door, then a gate which are both locked, before you come to the front door of the house.
The outside space could have been a bit more welcoming. The website says there is parking, but the only parking is on the high street which is very busy and you have to be lucky to get a space there. We were lucky, however, and always managed to get a space in the side street opposite, by the school.

Tiled floor and rooms were well proportioned.
Lovely living room, WiFi worked and plenty of programs to watch on TV.
On high street so easy to access local shops.
I didn’t like the lack of parking, restricted parking and I under estimated the incredible amount of traffic on the high street.
The courtyard was a little messy for a property of this price per night. One small table & just 2 chairs. The court yard could be vamped up and the bins hidden a little. The entrance isn’t welcoming which is a shame because the cottage is lovely. There was a couple of bins near the gate with rubbish strewn to the side which is not life threatening but rather unpleasant.

Fantastisch historisch pand, zeer goed uitgeruste keuken, fijne bedden, leuk ingericht, fijne badkamers, zeer centraal gelegen in de hoofdstraat van Burford met supermarkt, pubs en leuke winkels
Alles was goed!
