A gorgeous cottage filled with everything we needed. The home made cakes that welcomed us were a lovely surprise. Helen was a brilliant host who made us feel really welcome. We loved watching the deer and the hares in the surrounding fields

Plenty of crockery & kitchen ware; great to have fresh milk plus plenty of tea, coffee & sugar provided to make a cuppa on arrival to go with the lovely fresh cake that was waiting for us. Fabulous views over the countryside- very tranquil setting & welcoming hosts.

Spotlessly clean and extremely well equipped kitchen. Overall an excellent stay at a very reasonable price. The owner baked a cake for us which was a really nice touch and the wood fire was prepped ready to go.
Driveway was badly pot holed although on the last day of our stay they did fill in the holes but only a minor issue on an otherwise excellent stay

The Wash house is in a delightful position. We have never stayed anywhere so quiet and with such beautiful views.
The land to reach the site is a bit rough on the first encounter, but so well worth it.
