A modern, exceptionally beautiful chalet in a remote spot in the middle of nowhere, with superb mountain views. The host, Carlos, could not have been more helpful or accommodating. Home-cooked food was also very good.
Water pressure was very low and the shower next to useless. There was no mirror in our room. The minimalist design, including the absence of edge protection around stairs and balconies, might be a worry to some guests.

The location is amazing. Just 30 min from Cuicocha you will find the lodge near Neblina Reserve. The view and nature are breathtaking. The rooms have a nice exit to the backyard with view. Very clean, comfortable and great service by the owner Carlos. Feel free to contact him before. Nice hike (20-30 min) to the river. Food is simple, healthy and tasty (you can ask for special requests regarding food). Breakfast included. Dogs are allowed and they let you have them in common areas.
The bathrooms in our room didn’t have a door. It is nice if there is lots of trust. But maybe something to have in mind if you are sharing the room.

Everything is perfect about this property. The setting is amazing and the house is stunning… But the best part was the staff, with Carlos being a particular stand out. He took us on the most beautiful hike around the property. It’s amazing.
