If you want to experience living in a house with locals, you love dogs, and you either smoke or don't mind the smell, then book without hesitation. Otherwise, keep reading and decide yourself.
Drama is a beautiful town, and this house offers great value as it is a room to sleep in a house shared with the owners (bathroom/toilet shared also). The bed, towels and room were all very clean, as was the bathroom despite a lot of shampoo bottles etc. The A/C in the room is in good condition, and there was a nice TV in the room also although I didn't use it. There are mosquito screens over the balcony doors, which can also be opened from the top to allow ventilation. There is a nice church around the corner. I enjoyed my meal at a taverna called Stou Pastourma about 10 minutes walk away, where there is also a supermarket nearby. About 30 minutes walk to the centre of Drama.
I removed 2 stars because:
1) I was mostly left to figure things out myself i.e. I was not shown where the bathroom was even though the lady was home.
2) The advert could more clearly state that there are two dogs that run around your feet, and that the owners are smokers.
The dogs are two little fluffy white ones that are not aggressive but might jump on your leg.
There is a smoke smell, which wasn't too bad in the room itself.
Overall I might have given 6 or 7, but I went for 8 as many other reviewers obviously didn't read the advert that very clearly states you are staying in somebody's house, and that is unfairly harming the overall score.

The private room was clean and the view to the mountain great! Mr Giannis was very kind and helpful.
The shared rooms were not so clean. The apartment has a small dog, really friendly but the bathroom many times had uncleaned dog poop. The atmosphere had a smell of smoke everywhere.
