An elegant escape nestled in the mountains in Northeast Asheville, North Carolina, this property features magnificent accommodations within easy reach of all the city’s diverse attractions. With easy freeway access and close proximity to local shopping and restaurants, the property gets high marks for convenience. But it is its picturesque setting that makes it irresistible. **This is a brand new listing, so we do not yet have reviews for this property, but please see our other listings that have garnered many five star reviews: Tree Tops Asheville Escape (3715906), French Broad River Lodge (3872295), Gables Asheville Escape (4077437), and Leisure Mountain Lodge (9313891).** Recently remodeled and complete with modern amenities, the house features six bedrooms, sleeping up to 15 in bedrooms. Four of the bedrooms connect to en-suite baths, and all five full bathrooms have been been updated with luxurious features. Windows on both levels provide dramatic views of the mountains from nearly every room; this is a house for all seasons. Enjoy the surrounding lush green foliage of spring and summer, the vibrant hues of autumn, and the long-range mountain views of winter. Relax on the large deck next to the gas fire pit, or cozy up inside beside one of the two large stone gas fireplaces. Here’s a quick tour of the house: Top Level • Living area with stone gas fireplace • Gourmet Kitchen with bar seating for 5 • Dining Room open to kitchen with oversized, 9-foot dining table that seats 12 • Large Game Room with 70" smart flat screen TV and 50" round table • Outdoor deck with gas grill, dining tables, fire pit • Bedroom 1 - King memory foam bed with private full bathroom, including a soaking tub. • Bedroom 2 - Queen memory foam bed and twin daybed. Private full bathroom includes a soaking tub. • Bedroom 3 - Queen memory foam bed with attached full bathroom. Lower Level • Bedroom 4 - Queen memory foam bed and twin daybed with trundle plus desk. Private attached full bathroom. Private access to lower patio. • Bedroom 5 - King memory foam bed and shared full bathroom. • Bedroom 6 - Queen memory foam bed with desk and shared full bathroom. • Laundry room • Family room with 50" smart flat screen TV and stone gas fireplace, access to covered outdoor patio. Other amenities: Well-equipped kitchen, gas indoor fireplaces, gas grill, smart TVs with Hulu live TV in all bedrooms, bluetooth stereo/CD player, high-speed wireless internet, portable crib/bassinet, paved parking, paved road access, cell coverage from the property for major carriers. Note: There is a garage and garage apartment at this property. The garage is used for storage and is not available for guest use at this time. The garage apartment is currently used by owners during brief visits to the area. It has a separate parking area and a private entry so as to not intrude on guests in the main house. In the future it may be made available as an add-on rental for guests in the main house or separate travelers. INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate. ADDITIONAL FEES – The following additional fees will be assessed as applicable: • Cleaning Fee - $250 • Minimum Stay Surcharge - $150 per night below minimum stay requirement • Evidence of Smoking Fee - $500 plus additional cleaning expenses • Non-approved Pet Fee - $250, plus $35 per day, per pet • Non-approved Event Fee – $5,000 • Expenses charged at cost – pay-per-view movies, international long-distance calls, cost of excessive cleaning, cost of mailing left behind items, costs and attorney’s fees associated with guest’s failure to fulfill the terms of the agreement. In addition, guest will be responsible for charges for physical damage to or theft from the premises whether caused by accident or carelessness or deliberate actions of guest or invitees of guest. If damages are such that the property cannot be readied to accommodate other booked reservations, guest will be responsible for costs incurred to provide alternative lodging for those reservations.

The home has a perfect layout for 15 people… plenty of room to be together and to also have space, especially with five little girls running around. We are thinking about coming back in a couple of years and this would be the property we would choose to rent again. A few couples are now interested in purchasing a memory form mattress because of how well they rested in the beds that were in the house.

We asked family form various states to meet up here for 4 days of laughter, good food and fall foliage. It’s hard to know when picking a listing sight unseen whether it will live up to its promise. However, at this property, it exceeded our expectations with its beauty and location. We can’t recommend enough choosing this property for anyone looking for a stunning view (yet close to downtown Asheville).
We are grateful for this property serving as the backdrop for a wonderful family reunion. Highly recommend!

We had a perfect stay at the Overlook with plenty of room and all the comforts of home. We celebrated our wedding with a small group. The location is away from the main city area, but not a far drive into town. Great communication with the manager and he provided great recommendations for the area.

We absolutely adored this home to gather friends and family in our wedding party under one roof. I could not imagine a better space to house all our couples and it never felt cramped at all.

Absolutely perfect spot for our large extended family to stay for our daughter’s wedding. The house is spacious, well appointed with modern amenities and incredibly comfortable beds. The bedroom/bathroom ratio, open floor plan and multiple indoor and outdoor gathering spaces make this house ideal for large groups.

Our group of 12 loved this house and had plenty of space. Driveway had enough room for all our cars and the property was very clean and very beautiful. Everything was amazing and as expected.
Only thing that was slightly less great than expected was the outdoor fireplace was gas and didn’t produce much heat so we didn’t really get to enjoy a fire and the road is too dangerous to walk / run on but there are many great trails a short driving distance away.

This house was perfect for our group of families. Just about every room was an en suite. The house had three living rooms for us to spread out in and the kitchen was big enough for a couple of people to cook at the same time. The weather was perfect, so we utilized the back deck. We did get a couple of visits from the bears, but luckily, we were inside when they strolled through the backyard.

The house was exactly as advertised. Newly done, modern finishes, lots of room, nice deck.
We had 4 couples and accommodations were excellent. More room than we needed.

Also, two refrigerators with ice makers was a nice touch.

The house was clean and spacious and exactly as the listing stated. Jason was easy to communicate with and promptly answered any questions before and during our stay. The location is perfect for all the Asheville activities, DT Asheville, hiking or just gathering on the spacious deck. Beautiful views and the mama bear and cub were a fun surprise! The kitchen was stocked with all the necessities to prepare meals. Ingles grocery store is a short drive and it’s a really nice large grocery store. So nice to have that many bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate 11 people. We loved it all!!

The Overlook Asheville Escape was my cousins home away from our homes for our 9th annual cousins retreat and it was phenomenal. Riding up to the house view was breathtaking and then we entered the house.

It was 11 of us this year and we all had our own room. The 3 spaces for lounging was welcoming so everyone had room to sprawl out.
One designer cousin thought all the decor/design was spectacular.
This house is centrally located to a lot of attractions so it was a short drive to the Biltmore and downtown.
Communication with the host were addressed quickly.
I think if our cousins retreat ever brings us back to Asheville, we will definitely be staying here.

This property was exactly as expected from the description. It is perfect for both privacy and group common space. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of working space, excellent appliances and lighting. The deck is large with a great view. Noise was never an issue.

Spacious and quiet
This was a lovely remodeled, spacious house which fit the needs of our family of 8 adults and 4 children. There was a Pack and Play available for the family of 6 who had the lower level while the 3 adult couples had their own bedroom and attached bath on the main level. The kitchen was well supplied with cookware, utensils and dishes to prepare home cooked meals that were enjoyed at the table for twelve. There was even a highchair available. Ingles grocery store was close by to purchase our groceries and staples. It was nice to have gotten the information packet beforehand suggesting what to bring. I was able to share it with the family and know ahead of time to bring my traveling supply of spices. Our host, Jason, responded very quickly to any questions I had. Since there were few games, and not wanting the children to be outside by themselves, due to the bears and other wildlife, it was nice to have the foosball and Pacman arcade. A mama bear and her cub entertained us one evening. It was a good opportunity to be able to tell the children that bears were not animals to get close to.

This was a beautiful home that was perfect for our family vacation of 6 adults and 2 boys. There was plenty of space in each bedroom for sleeping and having your own room for downtime. The house was clean and well equipped. The kitchen was amazing and has pretty much every utensil you need. Jason was very responsive and helpful when needed. The beds were comfy and the bedrooms and whole home were decorated well. Loved the modern airy feel.
This location is 15-20 mins to everything you’d want to do and the house comes with a booklet of recommendations for guests.
We saw a bear the first day and she just walked around the property and enjoyed a back scratch on a tree. Very cool! All of us would stay here again.

We went to Asheville to celebrate our daughter's high school graduation with our extended family and this was a great house. There was plenty of space for five couples and our two daughters. Bedrooms were large and the bathrooms were awesome with lots of cool functionality. Family room space was also great with a game room as a bonus. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well!
Location was excellent - close enough to downtown Asheville shopping and breweries while also having great views. Highly recommend!

5 couples from all over the US gathered to ride and socialize. the house was perfect - very well equipped kitchen made cooking for 10 east - with everything we needed. Jason was very communicative and answered all our questions. i highly recommend the property - even if you don’t ride.

I loved looking out of the window in the morning to see the mountains! Every room had its own bathroom! My bother who is a chef for an NHL team noted that that the kitchen has everything you need and more! I would stay here again.

Wonderful week with girlfriends! This home was perfect for the 8 of us. Plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms to spread out and lots of open space for being together!!! Great location close to restaurants, downtown, Biltmore! Kitchen was lovely and equipped with everything we needed! Hope to be back soon!

The property was as advertised, very comfortable and provided a relaxing atmosphere. The first evening while relaxing on the deck enjoying the beautiful views a momma bear and her cubs wandered by to entertain us for a short time. We loved it. The beds were very comfortable and clean. We ate breakfast at the house before heading out to attractions nearby, the large kitchen and ample cooking equipment was great. Location was easy to get to and it was close to places we wanted visit. Really appreciate receiving the “owner’s manual” in digital format prior to arriving as it helped so everyone in the group could check things out ahead of time and have it accessible during the trip. We have been taking annual fall trips for about 10 years and this rates as one of the best houses we have rented. Originally there were nine in our group but two had leave early due family emergency so may have to return so they can enjoy the experience. Unfortunately, they were only in Asheville for about 13 hours.

This place was PERFECT!! So much room to have my parents, my sisters families and my partner and I. All the adults had their own bathroom attached to their rooms- 4, and the kids used the other 2 rooms and shared a bathroom. The kitchen was very spacious, and your mom can still be there to observe haha (not sure that’s a perk;). Having multiple living areas was great too and everyone could be doing separate activities. The outside space was great for nightly fireside chats. And then we retreated to our separate rooms when needed. Overall the best we could have asked for and we have a fabulous time exploring Asheville and other areas around. Thank you, and we will hopefully be back!!
Oh, and we added a NC puzzle to the game room, hope you enjoy!
