Fantastic apartment in a modern apartment block. Everything was perfect, it was well equipped, clean, comfortable, quiet and a great location. It has a large balcony overlooking a courtyard . Easy access to transport and a 24 hour minimarket 1 minute away. Landlord was helpful and communicated quickly. Loved it.
There's nothing to not like.

The location is great. You can reach anything easily from the with public transport or even by walk.
We booked the apartment for 10 days for three people: my wife, myself, and our 8-year-old daughter. They didn’t charge anything extra for our child, which was fine, but unfortunately, it also seemed like they didn’t count her as a guest at all.
We were provided with only 2 towels, 2 duvets and 2 pillows for three people. There were also only about 2–3 rolls of toilet paper for a 10-day stay and just one rubbish bag. This was especially inconvenient because you are expected to separate plastic, food waste, paper, etc., but there weren’t enough bags provided to actually do that properly.
The hair dryer works for about two minutes before overheating and switching itself off. That wasn’t a huge issue for me personally, but for my wife it was obviously quite frustrating.
There is also no TV, so be prepared for that. Obviously, you don’t go on holiday to sit around watching TV, but when you get back to the apartment at night, you might want to put something on and relax, especially when there are no books, games or other entertainment provided either. I just found it strange because I’ve never stayed in an apartment without a TV before.
I know these may sound like small things individually, but you would expect these basic comforts when renting an apartment in the middle of a capital city for 10 days.
Another unpleasant experience was on the day we checked out. Check-out is at 10:00 AM, but the cleaner simply walked into the apartment before 10 without knocking or giving us any notice and immediately started cleaning while we were still getting ready to leave. That felt quite rude and uncomfortable.
Overall, we had a great time in Hungary, but unfortunately, the apartment wasn’t part of what made the trip enjoyable. It is cheap, and for someone travelling on a very tight budget, it may be perfectly acceptable. However, if you value even a little extra comfort, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Lovely apartment - we were given clear instructions on booking in.
It was roomy, had Aircon in the living room.
Outside balcony with table and chairs.
Bathroom had a washing machine. I was able to wash the laundry we used and leave it to dry on the clothes horse before we left.
Close to heroes square, it was easy to use public transport to go into town.
Reasonable walk to the local market.
We were able to park in the underground carpark.
Highly recommend - it was a good choice. Can't fault it really.
Could do with more than one tiny pillow each.
The bath was rather high to climb in to shower if you are petite or disabled.
The kitchen didn't have baking dish to cook in, so we didn't use it.
The fridge needed a freshen up. - but these are little easily rectified issues .
The local area outside was a bit untidy looking.

New modern apartment with free parking in basement garage. Close to public transport hubs.
The fridge dies not cool properly. There is no dustbin inside the toilet or bathroom. It is not possible to open or close the curtain in the bedroom without the curtain rail falling off it's mountings and impossible to put back if you are not a very tall person. The pillows are really bad. A television would have been nice. New sections to the building is still under construction which makes sleeping after 7am impossible. The view from the balcony is basically a construction site...
