De locatie van het huisje is uitstekend. Giverny ligt vlakbij wat voor ons uitstekend was. Je kunt heerlijk langs de Seine wandelen. Bij het huisje is een terras. In de keuken is alle apparatuur aanwezig. Beide slaapkamers hebben een eigen badkamer met douche.
De bank ziet er wat smoezelig uit.

L’emplacement, à proximité de la Seine et de Giverny.
La maison est bien conçue avec une salle d’eau pour chaque chambre.
Le confort de la 2eme chambre. Des lits pour enfants plutôt que pour adultes, des oreillers à renouveler.

Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble for them. The property was very clean and comfortable, very light, and air conditioned. The bed was very comfortable, not too soft. Excellent bathroom facilities. It has nice big terrace outside where you can eat, with a lovely view of trees and hills. It was very well located, very near a quiet, beautiful part of the river Seine. Vernon is a town with a very nice vibe, with excellent transport links - we were able to easily get to Versailles, Giverney, and some little villages in the Seine valley. This was important for us a we don't have a car. We had some wonderful walks in the hills just above Giverney, where there's an extensive nature reserve. We saw all sorts of wild birds and butterflies and a deer and stoat. Our accommodation is about 1 km from the centre of town but it was a lovely walk, along the river (there is also a bus), and there are two very nice restaurants just a couple of minutes' walk away. Vernon has some very attractive old buildings, a particularly nice church was very beautiful windows, and an outstanding museum. We found the people very friendly and relaxed.
A couple of pictures and maybe something like a patterned duvet cover would be nice. It was a little plain.
The weather was patchy - bring waterproofs!

Gute Lage, das Stadtzentrum gut zu Fuß erreichbar
Es gab keine Spülmaschine vorhanden obwohl in der Ausstattung eine Spülmaschine angegeben war. Angeblich war sie zum Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthalts defekt???? Es gab keine Möglichkeit etwas in die Schränke zu legen oder zu hängen, da der Raum völlig mit Putzeimern und sonstigen Utensilien vollgestellt war. Die Terrasse war eigentlich noch eine Baustelle und in der Ecke stand der Sperrmüll. Der Sonnenschirm war war völlig zerfetzt und war nicht zu benutzen!
