From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly comfortable. The host greeted us on arrival and had already heated the private hot tub/pool so it was ready for immediate use. The lodge itself is cosy and comfortable, however, it is worth noting that the upper-level sleeping arrangement features open stairs and low(ish) head hight, which might be uncomfortable for taller guests or anyone uneasy with open staircases. The kitchenette is perfect for heating up food, but cooking a full meal may be tricky, we tried a couple of excellent, reasonably priced restaurants in town. What sets this place apart from other regional lodges is its location. It sits right at the end of the valley, completely unoverlooked. The half-dozen lodges on-site are well-spaced for maximum privacy, rather than being crowded together. As a quick word of caution: because it is at the very end of the valley, you will need to navigate a long drive down a narrow, in parts unpaved, track. Just keep driving and you will get there! We used a 4x4, but we saw smaller, standard cars successfully make the trip down the track as well. For our purposes, it was absolutely perfect, and we highly recommend it!

Great place. Highly recommended. I chose this one due to the view behind the cabin, which is amazing. there are many property to chose from but this one stand out. good value for money as well.

Great apartment, great host, stunning grounds and sweeping views from the valley. Inside of the A frame was new, beautiful and has everything you need, including comfy beds. Can't wait to be back.
