We arrived at Verona airport in the morning, so had to spend some time looking around, until the appointed check in time of 1500. We were met by Erika and her daughter, who showed us around, handed over the keys and explained how everything worked.
The apartment has two bedrooms, so for one couple, there is plenty of space. There is one shower room and one bathroom. The kitchen, dining area, and lounge are all one room.
The double bedroom opens onto a small back garden. The lounge opens on to a front terrace, with an outside cooking area.
Plenty of spare towels, bedding, etc. The kitchen is well equipped: gas hob, oven, microwave, kettle, toaster. Plenty of plates, cutlery, etc. and a good size fridge.
The pool is a short walk from the apartment and shared with other apartments in the development.
In an ideal world, it would have been great to have been able to check in earlier (as we had arrived early in the morning and the weather was pretty rubbish that day (cold & raining)). However, I know this isn't always possible and we were able to find things to do until check in.
We visited in mid-May and the weather wasn't great: we had two sunny days and plenty of rain. Of course, weather cannot be guaranteed, but the impact was that we found the apartment cold at night - we were grateful for the extra bedding. (The apartment does have central heating for the winter months and also an air con system.)
