LOCATION Sky Hawk is just off US 65 on the north side of the Buffalo River. The entrance is on the Gilbert Road (Hwy. 333), just 0.4 mile east of US 65. The cabin is about a half mile from the entry. Sited at the top of a ridge and flanked by a line of stately, old oaks, the house affords sweeping views up the Buffalo River Valley. The property has 3/4 mile of park frontage, and the Buffalo River Trail is just steps from the property corner. The park trail leads about a mile down to a long, wide gravel bar at Shine Eye Bluff -- the perfect spot to picnic, swim, fish or enjoy a lazy afternoon. (Shine Eye is also accessible by road, a five minute drive.) ACCOMMODATIONS Completed in June 2022, this comfortable home has plenty of room for your family or two couples. Stunning architecture and tasteful furnishings make the house memorable in its own right. High dormer windows in the two-story living area and large windows in every room let you see forest and sky all around. The interior is sunny and uplifting ... like the great outdoors. Flanking the great room are two spacious bedroom suites. Separate bathrooms have large, glass, walk-in showers. There are three other vacation homes at Sky Hawk Ridge. I just enjoyed my second stay at these fabulous properties at Sky Hawk Ridge. It was a wonderful relaxing time and Lori’s cabin could not have been more perfect in every way…it was pristine and super comfy. My girlfriends and I loved a little birthday get-away! Thank you Lori!

The property + surroundings were beautiful, our cabin was perfect (clean + brand new), and the host was very responsive. Tons of fun things to do - float down the Buffalo, hiking, S’mores around the camp fire, star gazing - so fun.

Such a beautiful place with all the amenities. Stayed here for three nights while we hiked and floated the Buffalo River. It was within driving distance of anything we needed but secluded enough to feel out on our own.

Such a stunning retreat. Natural light wanders all through the house and breezes find their way in with the windows open (but bugs never found their way through the bud screens). It really is a fantastic gathering pace for a group of friends. We spent a lot of the afternoons gathering in the combined living room / kitchen, and beautiful mornings on the back porch over looking the valley. Lots of great trails to walk along and a great kitchen space to make a meal together. Also, was very close to the float services for our trip down the buffalo. The star gazing by the fire pit and a moonlight stroll were such a nice ways to close out the evening. We can’t wait to make it back to Sky Hawk Ridge!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway and debated on a few different places before deciding on this one. I am SO glad we chose to stay here. It is truly a breathtakingly gorgeous property, from the cabin to all the surrounding acres. It is definitely food for the soul and you will fall in love with this place!! The host/owners are incredibly kind and made sure we had everything we needed for a flawless trip start to finish!

Relaxing and Great Getaway,
Always nervous when you stay somewhere for the 1st time, that was short lived once we arrived at Sky Hawk. The property the service were Outstanding we absolutely fell in love with the property and it's surrounding . Diana and her husband were great it was like talk to an old friend.
The house was spotless and stock with everything you will need for your stay. Hard to give a 5 star rating because you think their has to be something they could improve on, not at Sky Hawk.
Sky Hawk is a must stay we will return soon,

The cabin itself is immaculate, and beautifully decorated and furnished. The views are absolutely gorgeous from all windows and the covered deck. We spent most of our time at the private fire pit, and walking the trails on the property. We would absolutely recommend it to just get away/relax and enjoy the outdoors!

We spent a wonderful week at the cabin. SkyHawk never disappoints!!! So fun to watch the deer play on the banks of the pond and see the turkeys stroll by the back yard. The cabin is spotless & amenities are top notch. We enjoy staying at SkyHawk and look forward to our return.

The 3 rental houses are spread over 185 acres on a ridge with gorgeous views and maintained hiking trails. We saw deer, wild turkeys, and lots of birds. Our group rented two houses that were each very well-designed, decorated, well-equipped, and maintained. The property managers are local and were very friendly and helpful. Everyone in our group had a wonderful stay and plan to return. Everything about our stay was excellent!

The cabin exceeded our expectations! Absolutely gorgeous and equipped with everything we needed! The only thing we didn’t plan for was that the cabin sits in a dry county. Luckily we had picked up groceries and cocktails in Harrison before we checked in. We loved our visit and will definitely visit again!

The rental and property exceeded expectations. It was clean, spacious and beautifully decorated - it could have been on the cover of a magazine. Location to all the Buffalo National River area has to offer was spot on. We didn't have to go far to enjoy hiking, kayaking and fishing. The only thing I wished for was an additional television in one of the bedrooms instead of just one main TV in the living room.

This property was perfect for allowing us to “get away from it all” without sacrificing any modern conveniences. The surroundings are tranquil and the furnishings are top notch! It is also within close proximity to the Buffalo River. Highly recommend for anyone and we will definitely be back in the future!

My wife and I were looking for a spot to get away from the city for a few days and work/play. It turns out this was a perfect spot. The house and property was one of the best we’ve ever staid at and the owner/host were very helpful and generous. The house is located just a few miles from Verizon 5G towers, so cell connectivity was fast enough to bounce 300+ Mbs. Better yet, the house is in an ideal location for hiking, fishing, kayaking, riding, etc. There was tons of stuff to fill the hours between our workdays on the road. We look forward to our next trip to Sky Hawk.

We were super lucky to reserve the property for the upcoming weekend. The location is great (adjacent to the Buffalo National River but close enough to lakes and to Branson). We had a few false starts due to family issues and the hosts (Donna and Ron) were incredibly understanding. When we entered the cabin we both said "Wow!" It is a beautiful cabin on a tranquil, well-kept property. We enjoyed the evening entertainment watching the sun set while surrounded by fire flies and the sound of tree frogs. The cabin is very comfortable and well-appointed with numerous touches such as the indirect lighting in the open living room. Five stars in every category. Before leaving, we chatted a bit with Ron and he is truly an
expert on all things related to the Buffalo River and he is very conscientious about taking good care of any issues that may arise with the cabin.
