Getaway to the Bell-Zwart Lodge located on a working cattle ranch in La Grange, CA. This 3 bed, 2 bath log cabin home has scenic views of California's rolling hills and Turlock Lake. Take a trip to one of the nearby lakes, Turlock, Don Pedro, McSwain or McClure or take a day trip to Yosemite National Park, located only 59 miles away! Enjoy the peace and quiet in this wonderful country setting yet still close to major cities - only 35-45 minutes from Merced, Turlock and Modesto.

Wanted a different birthday getaway for my husband. This place checked all the boxes. A log cabin house on a knoll in the middle of the California farm belt. Cows mooing in the morning and brilliant sunset in the evening. 360 degree views of farms, mountains and lakes. Close to fishing (we did-Modesto Reservoir), Yosemite (we did) and gold country (we did). My only suggestion to make this perfect would be handrails for the front door steps and to reassess the high cleaning fee. Loved it, a definite do over!
