Elisabetta is a very friendly host whose apartment offers fabulous view from the living room across the valley. The decor is tasteful and not too "Ikea". Close to the centre of Govone which is a pretty enough village and a good location for visiting Alba and the wine villages of Roero and Barbaresco (Barolo is not too far either).
The balcony is not big enough for a table and chairs and it is not possible to fully open the window. The bathroom has a similar balcony but one that is shared with the host (presumably their bathroom). The "large double" bed is, in fact, two singles pushed together with uncomfortable mattresses. The tie beam in the bedroom is somewhat difficult to manoeuvre around. Really the apartment is a bit too small for what it is trying to achieve. The main outdoor space is a sloped driveway although we were told we would have to park elsewhere so I don't really see the point of this space. You can't sit out there (although a small table with two chairs had been put there).

La veduta dall vetrate dell'appartamento era spettacolare. Collocata nel centro storico, la casa si trova a poca distanza da ciò che si desidera visitare.

L’appartamento è accogliente, pulito e offre una vista splendida. Le host sono state estremamente disponibili e gentilissime.
Un piccolo aspetto da migliorare riguarda il letto matrimoniale, composto da due materassi singoli e cuscini piuttosto sottili, che potrebbero risultare meno confortevoli per alcuni.

There is no scale to describe how beautifully located this house is, how its interior makes you feel at home and how friendly and helpful the owner is ! The best place in the whole Piemonte! We will definitely go back there !
