Great old building and location. Great for short stays
Breakfast meant to be included with booking, but no staff to set up and was told to help self to breakfast in breakfast room but milk was off , no cutlery to use , bread was out of date and hard . In the end did not have anything for breakfast at hotel or in town as everything was closed

Great staff. Food in the evenings was much better than expected.
Breakfast is very basic, toast cereal, juice tea and coffee. Self serve. It's a pub, so noisy until about 9, settled after that.

The staff were so great here, lots of smiles and super polite. They even put aside two parmas for us before the kitchen closed which was so kind so cannot fault the staff. The shared bathrooms and showers were great. It’s in a perfect location, waking up in the middle of Derby was amazing.
The bedroom was fine, basic but did what it said on the tin. I don’t think it was the cleanest place I had ever stayed, the floors were a bit grimmy and the women’s bathroom downstairs was full of mosquitoes.
