About this condo rental
This condo was renovated from top to bottom the summer of 2023. Everything is new. Kitchen, bathroom all furniture, appliances, kitchenware and textiles. The condo is 300' from the Chili Express lift and there is a shuttle that picks you up right outside during ski season. You are also walking distance to restaurants and shopping. We can only accommodate 7 renters. Covered parking garage and an elevator are two major amenities that are rare in Angel Fire. The laundry rooms were renovated last year with new washer & dryer unit on each floor and there is an app to pay and will also let you know when your laundry is finished. The living room has a large "L shaped" sectional that is big enough to sleep two children with one on each section. There is no sleeper sofa. This condo is perfect for a family of 5-6. There is a large TV over the electric fireplace so you never need to purchase firewood and can have a fire throughout your stay. Enjoy our free WIFI and the TV is set up with DISH Network. You are also able to sit outside and watch people walk by on either one of the two the balconies. This complex is pet free. So, please no pets. The kitchen is newly renovated with granite, all new appliances, dishes, pots, pans and everything you need for a home cooked meal. There is a dining room that seats 5 comfortably and three at the kitchen breakfast bar. The master has a king bed with a second electric fireplace and TV. It also boasts a private bath with walk in shower. The second balcony is off of the master bedroom for breakfast or coffee. The second bedroom has two double bunk beds and a trundle. Perfect for a family. There is a ski locker across from the elevator on the entry floor and a bike storage room in the garage that is secure and accessible with a key. There are so many things to do in Angel Fire year round. During the summer, It is one of the best locations for mountain biking in the US with music festivals, balloon festival, hiking, horseback riding, all types of fishing and with a short drive, you are able to go river rafting, visit the Rio Grande Gorge as well as casinos and vineyards. Winter sports include, skiing, snowboarding, sledding and you are a day trip from Taos Ski Valley and Red River ski areas. Everything you need for a great ski or summer vacation is here. The condo was in a great location, it says 300 feet from the loft but it is solid up hill so it was awesome that the shuttle stops right outside the complex to take you up.
The ski shops are all very close by so no matter where you rent, it’s easy access to them.
The condo layout is fabulous. 2 bedrooms with ample space and each room has their own bathroom. Ski lockers downstairs were very beneficial! The beds were very cozy/warm and comfortable. Plenty of dresser space and closet space also!
The living room was wonderful for a family at the end of a busy day. Very comfortable!
The only notes I would make for future guests are: be sure to bring everything with you because the local store prices are insane. We had 5 guests and ran out of paper towels, given 1 trash bags, nearly ran out of toilet paper (4 girls), no hand soap in bathrooms, given 1 dishwashing pod, the kitchen is small so don’t anticipate elaborate prep meals but it’s perfect for basic meals. Bring your own food storage pieces for leftovers as we could t locate all the pieces of what they provided. The broom and vacuum you are provided for cleaning up while you stay is toy like, so it didn’t work well for cleaning up after a family! None of which would prevent me from booking again, just a heads up and now we know for next time.
BUT all in all I would absolutely stay here again! Wendy was great at communicating quickly!

Our family of 6 stayed in the condo for four nights and loved it! The location was awesome, some days we walked to/from the ski area but if we were exhausted we took advantage of the shuttle that runs every few minutes.
The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare meals, the beds were comfy and there are plenty of extra pillows and blankets in case someone needs to sleep on the sofa (which may be the comfiest spot in the house.) We enjoyed the gas fireplace/heaters both in the living area and master bedroom. Bathrooms had plenty of towels and the showers were amazing after a long day on the slopes. Lastly, communication with the property owner was fantastic—Wendy provided ample info and always responded quickly to my questions.
We are already talking about coming back again next year!!! Highly recommend this condo.

We came to stay with our Grandkids, while our Daughter shot a wedding. The condo was cute and very easy to get to. The kids loved the bunk beds. We had a great time. Would stay here again.

The property was as advertised. The property manager is responsive and easy to work with. The check in/out process was easy. This was a recent total renovation. There were a few things that can happen with any renovation that needed attention. They were minor and did not detract from the visit. I have a history of renting out condos I have owned. I gave a list of items needing attention to the property manager . She was appreciative and plans to have them corrected immediately. When completed it will be excellent.

Property has been recently updated with new kitchen and bathrooms. The condo is very comfortable and in a nice location. The building itself is older and could use some of the same attention as the unit has received. My only request would be to upgrade the toilet paper and paper towels. Thanks

Everything was as pictured. Excellent location within walking distance of the lifts. Very nice decor inside and very clean. Host was very welcoming and quick to respond to any questions we had. An overall great experience and look forward to staying here again in the future!

Over all the place was really nice and had recently been updated. Upon arrival there was supposed to be keys in a lockbox which there was not and I had to call the property owner to get access to the building. The code only worked once which required a second call. Property owner was extremely helpful and handled the situation immediately. Once inside, the place was nicely decorated and renovated. The place was not spotless however and required some cleaning on our part. The coffee table had parts from the door shades on it along with cookie crumbs. Looked like someone left and planned on returning but never did. Overall the experience was nice and I would ultimately rent again. The list was new and you can’t expect everything to perfect.

Our family very much enjoyed our stay in Angel Fire at this property! The photos accurately reflected the space, it was very clean, and the kitchen was well appointed though a little tight for more than 2 people. The appliances were clean and new. We enjoyed the walkability to the chair lift at the Angel Fire Resort and to the Pizza Stop and the convenience of a nearby grocery store. Communication with Wendy was easy and prompt. Linens were very nice, the sofa very comfortable, and showers very nice.
We did confirm other reviews of sulfur smell from the hot water but, per instructions at check-in (run both water heaters until the hot water runs out), we did not experience the smell after the first night. I imagine that a higher turnover in guests during busier seasons may alleviate the water’s opportunity to sit and take on the sulfury smell. All that said, the condo has two water heaters so that we never ran out of hot water, even with long teenager showers!
Master bedroom mattress was comfortable; the bunk beds’ mattresses a little firmer than our sons’ preferences. New and clean nonetheless. If we were to visit Angel Fire again, we would look to stay here again.

The condo is newly renovated and very cute! Perfect for our younger kiddos (2 & 4) with the bunk beds/trundle. Everything was as they said it would be in the check-in email. We had a little trouble getting in, but we got in touch with Wendy and she fixed it in minutes. Very nice little place. We enjoyed our stay.

The condo was immaculate! It was very evident all was brand new and it felt so fresh and clean. We can't wait to stay at this property again! We recommend this. It was the perfect setup for our family and our stay!

This condo was everything that was described in the listing. Wendy answered all my questions and made the check-in process smooth. I recommend if you are traveling to Angel Fire with family, this condo is the perfect place to stay. The only hiccup we had was the water pressure in the shower was not great. Not sure if the water pressure was low because of the weather or a lot of people using it at the same time.

Overall the condo was as pictured. Wendy was a great host and answered all our questions before, during, and after our stay. Location was great with the shuttle stop right at the garage entrance. Also within walking distance to gear rentals and pizza stop. Sulfur smell is real but mainly in the master shower, all other faucets were normal after the first run. Otherwise everything else was as expected and place was clean and as pictured.

This condo was perfect for our family of 5. It had all the space and beds needed. Everything was clean, updated and looked exactly like the pictures. The only negative would be that the floors are thin and you can hear the group above you as they move around and the electric fireplace does not put off any heat. However, these small things were not a big deal for us. I would not think twice about staying here again. The location is perfect and in walking distance to everything that you need.

This condo was AMAZING! It is in a great location and is so comfy and cozy! We did lots of cooking, the kitchen was well equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly when I had questions. Highly recommend and will stay again!

Wonderful location! The sulfur smell seemed only bad when we showered. We ran the water for a long time, but didn’t seem to help. Water pressure in shower in master bathroom was low. Otherwise, great place!

This place is great! Perfect location to get to the resort and walking distance to food. The bike storage was a huge plus for our mountain bike trip in keeping the bikes safely put up at night. Communication with the owners were great and very prompt. Would definitely stay again!

The experience in this VRBO was excellent. The unit was exactly as listed and came fully stocked with enough kitchenware to hold 3 hungry guys over. If I had to name one issue it would be water pressure was a bit low but not remotely a deal breaker. It would comfortably sleep 6 in beds if everyone can double up. Or 4 if everyone wants their own space and one takes the couch. The secure bike locker in the garage had a workbench, stand, and pump for any tweaks or servicing you need to do before hitting the mountain. Overall if I come back to Angelfire I'll definitely stay here!

We had a great time in Angel Fire, and our condo was fabulous. The condo was beautiful. The owner was easy to get ahold of and very helpful. We would love to come stay again.

The condo is renovated with new furniture and looks just like in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and my kids were totally comfortable in the bunk bed room - it was the perfect space for them. While having coffee on the porch I enjoyed the songs of mountain sparrows in the trees next to the building in the morning. The location is super convenient for walking to the chairlift, to the market, to restaurants, or just for strolling after dinner to see the spectacular sunsets over the mountains and watch the ground squirrels in the wildflower meadows nearby. We had a minor issue with a slow shower drain that wasn't able to be addressed over the weekend but it wasn't a big deal. We would definitely look to book this condo again next time we visit.
