The apartment is a really good space, perfect for a couple. It’s well stocked with everything you need for a stay away from home, and a much more spacious bathroom than you’d find in a hotel room. And parking is a massive bonus for St Ives! We really liked the decor too.
I didn’t find the mattress totally comfortable but that’s personal preference. And while it wasn’t a problem for us, just be aware that it’s up the hill from town, so the walk back takes much longer than the walk there!

The location is excellent and the centre of St Ives is easily accessible by walking. Having a parking space is a real advantage given the general lack of convenient parking in St Ives.
The property is located just far enough away from the congestion of the town centre but close enough to walk down to the harbour, foreshore and cafes and restaurants. The unit is well setup with everything a short (or longer) term guest would need. Having a parking spot makes the unit very convenient for unloading and loading baggage as well as for exploring the sights of Cornwall by car.
There could have been a few more instructions regarding the heating system which is a little quirky.
For first time visitors the location details can be confusing especially when arriving at night.

Firstly, there were several things we really liked about the flat. It was lovely and well equipped, and the bedding and towels were clean. We appreciated the welcome touches and generally enjoyed our stay.
There were, however, a few things that I feel are worth mentioning.
The shower head was broken, which was quite inconvenient, and the extractor fan wasn't working. There was a polite note asking guests to open the windows, but with the extractor not working this did make ventilation more difficult.
Unfortunately, we also found the bed very uncomfortable. When I stripped the bed before leaving, I was concerned to see that the mattress was quite heavily stained. Given how uncomfortable the bed was, seeing the condition of the mattress was disappointing and something I think should be looked at.
I also appreciate that the property needs to be cleaned between guests, but a 10am checkout following a 4pm check-in does feel quite early, particularly for a holiday stay. During our stay, when the other flat was being cleaned, there was also quite a lot of noise, and unfortunately there didn't seem to be much consideration for guests still staying within the building.
Your pre-arrival email did make us aware that CCTV had been installed to cover the parking space, front door, entrance and stairway, so we were aware that CCTV was present. However, I couldn't see any CCTV signage in the entrance, stairs or landing.

We had an amazing stay at this property. Love the way the flat is decorated, it's got a really good vibe. Also the flat is in a really good position of the town, with parking which is a massive bonus in St Ives. Sitting on the balcony having a few drinks looking at the night sky was amazing experience. Also the sun rise early morning looking over Hayle is amazing too.
This was the 3rd time me and my partner have stayed in St Ives, in 3 different properties. This flat was the best we have stayed in out of the 3. Would recommend 100% if you are considering staying here.
