Great place for a 2 bedroomed trip. The host was very easy to contact by telephone and helpful.

The location was well placed to visit all the D-Day beaches, Memorials and Cemeteries, which we had made the journey to see. Very handy for Bayeux and Caen. The cottage has great potential to be a good place to stay, in pleasant surroundings.
Communication was abysmal. Every enquirey, Email or phone, was met with an automated response. It took too many attempts to get information on how to gain access and the information was not provided until we had been sat outside the property for some time. The information that was repeatedly sent consisted, in the main, of advertising for businesses in Bayeux. I was fuming by the time we gained entry and it got worse when I discovered that there was no cold water feed to the sinks in the bathroom. Another major setback was that there was no apparent way of retaining water in the sinks. I have had experience with many sorts of retention devices but none appeared to exist here. The water problem was reported but no action taken during our stay. An apology for being too busy to have anybody there to greet us did not pacify me.
