It has history and character, it is in the heart of the city.
Very loud at night, but what can you expect on Karl Johan the Saturday øya festivalen has just ended. Has to be expected.

Location is excellent, as well as the atmosphere.
Breakfast is one of the best I have had in similar hotels in the last couple of years.
Staff is very polite, attentive and friendly.
For a 4-star hotel, and the price we paid, it’s not acceptable that there are no toiletries, amenities or even a pair of slippers.

Everything was just amazing! Room was so well organized, very clean and tight. Breakfast was probably the best I ever had in Europe. Quite a lot of different choices for all types of restrictions/allergies/preferences. Reception and cleaning staff very polite and super helpful.

Location was excellent and the hotel itself on the outside and first arrival looked very nice. The breakfast was quite nice. The beds were comfortable. The staff were helpful.
The rooms were very compact and a little tired. The bathrooms are even more dated. They were clean and in truth it's the only thing that really matters. We started with a room on the street above a bar playing music. Loud is an understatement. We may as well have been in the bar. Didn't manage to get to sleep till 3.30am. The staff the next morning upon request moved us to a quieter room.
