Good location in between Windermere and Ambleside. Large lounge and warm gas fire.
The nightmare parking at a distance from the apartment (up a bad track which was not suitable for my small car). The noise from the people in the apartment above (they weren't being particularly noisy but it felt as if they were almost in the room with us). It wasn't particularly clean and the bathroom smelt of damp. Everything felt very tired (see photos later......the firepit in reality looks nothing like the firepit in the picture on Booking.com and the 'garden' was overgrown).

The cottage was cosy, clean and nicely decorated. All contact with the owners was helpful and friendly, which all helps to make the stay a smooth one! Some great recommendations for what to do.
