Situated in Hattiesburg, this charming house for $392 per night is a great option for your next trip. Welcome to "Pool House" - a midtown home with a beautiful screened pool and outdoor living area. Swim in the heated pool every month except January and February! We’ve remodeled this 4 bd/2 ba home with travelers in mind, whether your trip is for business or vacation. You’ll have a private heated pool, high speed fiber internet, fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, and lots of touches to make your stay enjoyable (a collection of board games and a vintage 80’s stereo with some vinyl, too.) The space Pool House is cozy and functional. Between stays, we wash all the sheets, duvet covers, blankets and towels in dye and fragrance free detergent on the hottest setting. The only scented product I use is Downy wrinkle release on the sheets and duvets. If you have any allergy concerns, I can skip that step. Before you arrive, we wipe all the high touch surfaces with disinfectant and spray everything as well. There’s a large dining table inside that seats 8, and an outdoor dining table that seats 6. Around the pool you’ll find several seating areas to watch swimmers or have your morning cup of coffee. We’ve got pool games and toys ready and an electric grill that’s easy to use (electric since it’s inside the screen). If you want to have an outdoor movie night or watch the big game outside, we have a screen and projector with Hulu, Disney, and ESPN. You just take the projector outside and pull down the screen and you are ready to enjoy a nighttime, outdoor cinema. I love plants, so the backyard is loaded with some of my favorites – if the tomato/peppers/herbs are ready to pick, you are welcome to them. If you’re forced to put in some office hours during your trip, there’s also a separate office space with a huge whiteboard and spacious desk (fiber internet) so you can focus and then quickly get back to relaxing. Each bedroom, the living room, and the office have smart tvs with Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ all ready signed in and ready to go. You can also sign in to your own prime video or Netflix or other subscription services on the tv apps. Local Channels are available for live tv. If you want to watch other channels, Pluto tv has lots of variety. We upgraded to a top of the line tankless water heater to supply the house with endless hot water - now the last shower is as hot as the first! Guest access IMPORTANT TO NOTE: Guests have access to the entire house, private, screened pool and a large back porch to enjoy the outside. All the guests must be listed on the reservation and only those listed can be at the house, spend the night, or swim. Anyone else requires prior permission from the owner. We don't allow parties at the house. If you would like to have a small gathering, it will require prior approval from the host (and may include a fee). Any violation of this rule will immediately forfeit the reservation. Please park on the driveway and carport which together can accommodate up to 6 cars. Other things to note: The pool heater works best between March and December if the temperatures don’t dip too low. It can generally keep the pool water warm as long as the temperatures are at least in the 50s.

The house was clean and filled with everything you could need. The pool was amazing and loved that is was screened in. Mrs. Andrea was so helpful and always checking in with us. Close to attractions that we wanted to see.

Our stay was amazing. The owner had so many special touches that made our trip comfortable and very enjoyable. The pool was perfect and very fun. We cooked many of our meals in the kitchen, which was fully equipped. Highly recommend!

Phenomenal place to stay. They have everything you would need to enjoy your stay. Lots of fun games and toys for the kids. They even have pool toys for the kids to use. Extremely clean!!

Spent an awesome 3-day weekend at the pool house with my extended family. Plenty of room, comfortable space. Back patio made for great visiting. Very well stocked. We lacked nothing. Everyone loved it.

The Pool House is simply amazing! Clean, cozy, and comfortable for our entire family. Our children enjoyed the extra’s that Andrea provided upon our arrival. She is a wonderful host and provides excellent communication if you need anything at all through your stay. We already can’t wait to return. If your planning to come to the area you won’t be disappointed staying here. The home has something for everyone!! The beds are comfortable and we enjoyed the collection of books and records. My 8 year old gives the Pool House 10,000 stars!

We were very blessed to find this rental this week. We were in town for a family emergency, and everything went so smoothly with our lodging. Andrea was incredibly kind and very effective with communication. The house had absolutely everything we could have hoped for. We were traveling with our baby, and we even had everything we needed for her. The location was perfect, the house was comfortable and clean, and it was completely stocked with everything we needed. We would definitely rent it again!

Best vacation rental we have ever experienced an we travel frequently. We will definitely recommend this place to others. The house was well stocked with supplies- food drinks snacks seasonings paper towels tissue. All things we are used to having to go purchase when we get to our destination. So that was very much appreciated. Lots of extra supplies in the bathrooms in case you forgot anything. Property manager was very helpful when was needed. Very comfortable an safe. We'll definitely be back again an again.

There aren't enough stars in the sky to accurately reflect the rating I'd give Andrea as a host, and the property itself. I traveled to Hattiesburg with my 85-year old mother to attend her 60-something high school reunion. My 16-year old daughter came along as well. My mother is VERY conscious of cleanliness (even before COVID!) and has been known to check out of 5 star hotels that didn't meet her cleanliness standards. When she first walked into the Pool House, she took a deep breath and said "whew, it smells so fresh and clean!" She then proceeded to inspect every room, the bathrooms, the kitchen, and declared it up to her standards. I could end the review right here, because she is the toughest audience ever! My 16-year old changed into her bathing suit immediately and proceeded to spend the rest of our stay in the beautiful, salt-water pool. I had to DRAG her out to eat and sleep, and she declared this the "best" rental we've stayed in to date (and mind you, we've stayed in quite a few!). Everything, and I mean everything, has been taken care of in this home.. pool towels and pool toys, extra toothbrushes and sundries, phone charging towers in every room, countless indoor games for rainy days, state of the art TVs in the bedrooms and the den, and an incredible kitchen that's better stocked than mine at home - Andrea had thought of every little detail to make our stay stress -free. I'll close this review by saying that Andrea's "Pool House" epitomizes the term "Southern Hospitality." She communicated with us before and during our arrival, and came over quickly to resolve a minor issue with a kitchen appliance (which are all brand new and shiny, btw). My mom can't stop talking about how sweet and respectful she was, and how every little detail is thought of and taken care of in this beautiful home. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and just right around the corner from stores, restaurants and the main hub of Hattiesburg. I sincerely hope we have the pleasure and privilege of staying at the Pool House during all of our yearly summer visits to Hattiesburg.
