About this house rental
Located on a private, gated road, experience fresh air that's travelled thousands of miles over the ocean. Explore 15 acres of the most beautiful property in the universe. Be prepared for 50,000 shades of verdant green to welcome you to a beautiful oasis of privacy. Cows cohabitate with the coconuts, bananas as well as a cornucopia of plants and trees. The home is only a 15 minute walk to historic and scenic Kapanaia Bay. Well appointed for comfort and convenience with managers onsite. Use of a pool is included along with fresh fruit at the owners other property, across the road. We receive enough rain to keep the grass green, but not enough to grow moss. Please be aware that due to our tropical climate, there are geckos sharing our home. We always give the rental a thorough cleaning right before check-in, but the longer you stay there is an increased likelihood of seeing evidence of the geckos.

Our stay was fantastic. The ocean views are spectacular. The privacy is amazing. That location is awesome for doing things in North Kohala. The neighbors next store were great. Fruit from the owners was delicious. The cows, sheep, chickens, ducks, goat and pig were very entertaining. A couple of surprises did not phase us: all solar electricity (with generator if necessary) and no TP into the toilet. This is a wonderful place to stay.

We had 3 glorious night at the secluded spot 3 miles past Kapa’au. Only the sounds of chirping birds were heard day and night. Just what the doctor ordered

Wow! We really enjoyed our stay here. Alyson, Elliot and their daughters were most helpful. We loved all of the small villages on this part of the island. We drove thru the property to the coast where we saw a part of Hawaii that was stunning. The sea cliffs were beautiful as well as the hike down to the creek. The house was perfect. Everything provided! Ya gotta do if you want to be IN Hawaii!!

House has beautiful view of Pacific and the morning sunrises are spectacular. Can hike down to the shoreline.
Quiet rural setting and the proprietors are very helpful and accommodating.
