Nestled in Blowing Rock, this charming resort for $398 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Chetola Resort is an 87 acre just off Main Street in quaint Blowing Rock. It is the perfect place to relax, be inspired and make memories with those you Love. Laurel Nook is a newly renovated condo with an open, airy living and dining area, that walks out to a covered porch - perfect to watch the Sunrise or relax at the end of a fun day exploring the High Country. Just a one-minute walk from the Lodge that includes a Spa, Orvis Fly Shop, Coffee Shop, Gift Shop and Timberlake Restaurant. Enjoy the Lake with Fishing, walking path, waterfall and graceful Swans and a sledding hill in the winter. Trailhead to Bass Lake and the Moses Cone Trails is accessible from the back of resort. There is so much to do without even leaving the property! Short walk to Downtown Blowing Rock with many restaurants, shops and Memorial Park. The Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad and Blue Ridge Parkway are less than 3 miles away, App State University is 5 miles, and Appalachian Ski Mountain is just a 10 minute drive . Laurel Nook Unit features a master with comfy king bed and private bath, separate from the two guest bedrooms, one with a king bed and 1 Queen. A rollaway twin bed and pack 'n play are also available to sleep a total of 7 people. All bedrooms have Hotel Linens, Smart TV, personal fan, alarm clock and WiFi. Charging cables, sleds, cards, games and kids toys. Bath towels and personal care products are included and there is a Washer, Dryer and laundry detergent in unit. Well-stocked Kitchen has gas stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator/freezer. Keurig coffee maker and variety of coffee and hot chocolate K-Cups. Eggs, Milk, Juices, Cereal, Breakfast Items, Snacks, waters and sodas provided upon arrival of your stay. Come enjoy a peaceful mountain getaway! Beautiful, comfortable place where we could all relax after enjoying Chetola, Tweetsie and Blowing Rock. The condo was very well-stocked. The owners made sure we had what we needed with a lot of nice extra touches. .

Absolutely wonderful mountain getaway! The home was stocked with everything we needed, plus more! The hosts were so thoughtful and welcoming with items to use during our stay. The location was amazing and beautiful. We cannot wait to book for next fall!

The beds were so comfy and so many little amenities from the snacks and drinks, coffee supplies- gotta love a frother! - to the variety of phone plugs and well-placed outlets and power strips, (especially thankful for the Apple Watch power cord as I had forgotten mine!), the owners thought of everything to make this stay really magical. I am so thankful I found this wonderful place. Whenever I come back up this way, this is where I will want to stay!

I cannot say enough good things about this condo. Everything from fast communication with the host about last minute questions to the most welcoming and beautiful property I’ve stayed at. The assortment of pre-stocked snacks and coffee was a game changer. The condo was exactly as described but I’d even say better. The view on the patio alone was so relaxing and we enjoyed watching the birds and chipmunks throughout the day. We were in town for a wedding and our family was completely jealous of our place. We most definitely will be coming back to stay again in the future. Thank you for everything once again.

Jeff & Lisa have created the perfect getaway. The condo is spacious and so well stocked! Our group of 2 grandparents, 2 adult children, and 2 little grandchildren was comfortable and at home. We loved all the personal touches like breakfast food provided, full bird feeders for birdwatching, streaming services, fresh flowers, magazines, and a super clean place! We highly recommend this property, and we’ll be back! Thank you!

We have been to Chetola several times, but this was our first stay in this at Laurel Nook. The condo was even better than advertised, if that’s even possible.
The location being near the main lodge was a bonus, but the best part was the whole experience. The beds were really comfortable. There were also a few other perks that the owners provide that just made the stay that much better. We will definitely be back!

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. Owners were a total pleasure to deal with, answered any questions quickly. They gave recommendations for great places to eat and visit in the area. Very comfortable.
One small minor disappointment was that the fireplace was out of order, but was understandable as they were in the middle of converting ir to gas or having it repaired, Thank you for helping us have a wonderful weekend!!!!!

Fabulous place to stay: roomy, clean, great view, well-stocked w/games, puzzles for all ages, plenty of drinks and snacks, etc. Close to downtown Blowing Rock and walkable to nearby Moses Cone Memorial Park for hiking the many trails. Oh, and GREAT hot tub off master bedroom!! Would love to come back!

Very clean. Nice furnishings. Liked the coffee for the mornings and waters in the refrigerator. They were a nice touch for a bunch of weekend golfers who don't think ahead.

This is a great condo, beautifully decorated, very spacious, and in a great location - only 5 minutes to downtown Blowing Rock shops and restaurants. The condo was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen was completely outfitted. The hosts were gracious enough to provide water, sodas, coffee, and snacks for us to enjoy. The outside covered porch had plenty of comfortable seating and we enjoyed watching the hummingbirds and the birds at the feeders. The bathrooms are large with plenty of towels. The resort is beautiful, and we enjoyed massages at the spa and a wonderful dinner at Timberlakes. The hosts provided many extra touches to make our stay so enjoyable. We can't wait to return next year. I highly recommend staying here!
