Very central location, 7 min walk from Omonia metro station, and close to Exarchia, Kypseli and Monastiraki.
Rooms are spacious, clean, ventilated and air conditioned. The hostel was considerate of my request for an upper bunk bed. Each bed has curtains, a power socket, a small shelf and a railing. There is a lot of room for bags either under the beds or besides them.
Kitchen is super well equipped, there are some fruits offered every morning and hot coffee. Showers are in order, with plenty of hooks to hang personal items.
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Amenities like towels and locks are provided for a very fair price, once for the entire duration of the stay. There are also events hosted by the hostel.
Overall the vibe is social and I found it easy to meet new people. Shared spaces are designed in a way that makes it easy to engage. I recommend it!

* It has a chill out area and lobby you can sit in and relax
* The dining room has microwave, oven, kettle and teabags - you can cook
* Positive thing is the hostel has a gate and buzzer so no stranger can get in.
* The hostel is in an area which is full of graffitti - you know what I mean :-)
* At night you can see drunks, people taking drugs and prostitutes.

The ambience was great, the staff friendly and the place was very clean.
The showers were clogged and the shower heads on and of the shower could be adjusted, resulting in the stream of water aiming straight ahead and needing to hold it by hand in order to take a shower.
Additionally, on our last night we had a friend leave a jacket at the front desk to our name but the jacket was mysteriously lost and despite our friend stating he was sure he handed it to the front desk girl, no one at the hostel acknowledged receiving it, and just told us it wasn’t their responsibility. While we understand that, the overall experience with the staff was that they were inexperienced and very disorganized.
They asked us to wait for example while their looked for the jacket and then simply forgot they were doing that when we went to the front desk to ask again some hours later.
Lastly we booked a bed on a 4 bedroom room but it had 5 beds, when asking they commented “its bookings problem not ours”. Again while that may be true, it just came across very unprofessional.
