I liked the fact that on check in, a great explanation was given regarding local knowledge of the area and potential problems that might arise due to incoming snow falls. One felt confident of backup and support being only a call away.

Only one very small dislike, no coffee machine to treat a few coffee addicts.

Without doubt the incredible views and isolation away from noise and town, positioned perfectly near the lake.

Not a big deal, but the bath tub leaked and the carpet was a bit old and worn.

Outstanding communication and support as we were late due to road closures. We were escorted to the property and welcomed with a bottle of local wine and genuine hospitality and compassion for our situation.

Beautiful house well in need of some maintenance. With the price asked it was disappointing to find so many maintenance issues with the house. Window locks are broken so you can't secure the house while out or asleep. The ensuite window blind is difficult to close leaving you exposed while using the bathroom to anyone outside. Wardrobe doors were broken off their hinges. Heavy black soot covers the fireplace and ceiling leaving the house smelling of smoke. The owner has something running continuously in the garage which gives an annoying vibration sound in the bedroom next to it. Flooring is bowed and lifting and partially sanded. Carpet is duct taped to the floor. The owner arrived twice at the house without notice. If isolation and views are what you're looking for then you'll not find a more beautiful location, however refinement consistent with the price was disappointing.
