About this cabin rental
Located in Carroll County, this lovely cabin for $137 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Hoot Owl Cabin sits on a mountainside of 10 wooded acres that offers an authentic mountain cabin experience. Observing deer and other native wildlife is quite common. The property has a covered pavilion, fire pit and outdoor seating, Roku smart TV & WIFI. Hoot Owl Cabin has 1 bedroom with two twin beds, 1 king bed in the main cabin area and 1 full bath that has a 2 person deep Jacuzzi tub that also serves as a stand up shower. Outside the cabin you'll find a covered pavilion where you can admire the 700 year hold Hoot Owl Tree along with a fire pit with everything you need to enjoy a relaxing campfire....just bring your firewood, marshmallows and hot dogs! A Weber charcoal grill is provided (we do not provide charcoal or lighter fluid) and ask that you use the gravel driveway to grill. Hoot Owl Cabin is only minutes away from Eureka Springs, Beaver Lake, White River and Thorncrown Chapel. Enjoy many varied activities as you boat on Beaver Lake, float the White River, kayak, hike a trail in the Ozark Mountains, fly fish, mountain bike, climb, or even enjoy community theater and the many other attractions in and around Northwest Arkansas. Take in Eureka Springs for its highly-rated restaurants, coffee shops, art galleries, antique shops, vintage clothing and craft shops, parks, natural springs, quirky tours and let's not forget the bars and micro-breweries! If you have time for day trips, check out the nearby towns of Fayetteville (home of the Arkansas Razorbacks), Bentonville (home of the Wal-Mart museum and Crystal Bridges Art Museum (spectacular) or nearby Branson, MO and Table Rock lake. Or you may choose to bring your supplies, never leave the property and just enjoy relaxing or exploring the 10 acres of mountainside. Many guests do just that!!! (Dogs especially love it because they can run off leash!). CRITTERS: We have a regular pest control company that maintains the grounds. As we are located in the forest, please note that bugs may be present on the property. NATIVE PLANTS AND ANIMALS: This cabin is located in the middle of the Ozark Mountains. As such it is important for potential guests to understand before making a reservation that mother nature and her loving family of flora and fauna may make their presence known including snakes, lizards, deer, dogs, bears, raccoons, spiders, ladybugs, wasps, bees, rabbits, excessive pollen, poison ivy/oak, chiggers, beetles, field mice, ants, cockroaches, squirrels, opossums, flies, walking sticks, coyotes, moths, and butterflies, just to name a few. And, although, the cabin is on strict pest control and cleaning regimen our native flora and fauna may find a way to join you since you are visiting their habitat. We appreciate your understanding! Hunting is prohibited on property. Smoking and vaping are prohibited inside the cabin or on the front porch. Do not throw cigarette butts on the ground outside. If any are detected, a $300 fine will be assessed.

This is a charming little cabin in the woods. It has a complete kitchen, which I like, because we always prepare breakfasts where we are staying. It is clean and well decorated and very cozy.
We had some problems understanding the Roku TV, but the owner was very responsive and attentive to helping us get it set up.
The only room for improvement would be to make more of an effort to make guests feel less like “paying customers”. We have stayed in several VRBO’s and without exception, there have always been complimentary bottled water and snacks to greet us. Of course it is not necessary, but it has always made us feel like we are welcome and valued. In addition, there have always been guest books at the other VRBO’s we rented and we missed seeing one at the Hoot Owl cabin. It is always fun to read about other traveler's experiences.

Nice hosts quick to respond. Very nice cabin closer to the main road and other properties than I expected but still felt secluded. Soft beds, loved the fireplace. Great water pressure except for the shower and the jacuzzi didn't work or I just didn't know how to work it lol Overall would recommend staying here.

We loved our stay at The Hoot Owl cabin! It was the rest and recharge we needed. The cabin was cozy and inviting and we were sad to leave. The owners were easy to communicate with and quick to respond! If you’re needing a nice getaway this is the place to go.

Just saying "Great Place" or "Wonderful Time" does not adequately describe our time here. It is a beautiful, serene property with so much to offer. The trees, the wildlife, and of course the cozy cabin make for an unforgettable stay. Our hosts really care about this property and were very attentive to our questions. We will definitely be back - and not soon enough!

We had an incredible stay. The cabin is beautiful and it’s lovely outside seating was very relaxing. Short drive to eureka springs on a scenic road. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and my wife said we’d definitely be looking to come back!

We were very comfortable in this little cabin. We especially loved catching fireflies around the house in the evening and listening to the summer insect sounds at night. As others have noted, the big bed is incredibly comfortable and my six-year-old son enjoyed the little add-on bedroom in the back. The place felt further from Eureka Springs than advertised, but that was probably because of road construction that narrowed the road to one lane of traffic in two spots before getting there. That construction was, of course, only temporary. We highly recommend popping up across the border into Missouri and visiting Roaring River State Park. There's a grocery store along the way that we thought was more convenient. Overall, a well-priced retreat!

Great location close to all the attractions in Eureka Springs but the cabin still feels very secluded. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The cabin was very clean and beautifully decorated. Great overall experience!

This cabin was everything the listing said it was! Great location, secluded and all the comforts of home. There are other cabins on the property, but you would never know it.
The gas long fireplace was an added bonus and we enjoyed having it with the chill that was in the air.
My only advice - bring a truck. It would not have been possible to drive my car to the cabin off the main highway.

If your looking for a place that is off the beaten path but close enough to make the short scenic drive, then this is your place.
We just wanted a place for a little r&r, this place delivers. Bedding and amenities were a definite bonus, no cheap hotel sheets or pillows. Will return in the summer months to enjoy the surrounding lake activities.

Great place to stay. Highly recommend. We were peacefully secluded in the woods away from town and other cabins. But close enough to enjoy Eureka Springs without a long drive. The cabin decor is very nice and homie just like the pictures show. Yes the driveway is sort of steep and rocky but everything in the area is. We saw several people with little cars and they got up and down the driveway just fine . You just need to go slow and you’ll be fine. At night they have a super well lit sign that allows you to see where to turn on to the driveway off from the highway.

Beautiful Autumn colors and a secluded, luxurious cabin were all we both needed to say, please have us back! We are hopeful of making this an annual or semi annual trip. All accommodations were excellent! Fully stocked kitchen, fully stocked bathroom, comfortable bed and warm and cozy sofa and a nice little dinette. We have never rested any better! We did not watch much television, but the tv had Roku, live tv and Netflix, Hulu. Whatever you needed. Just a short trip to Eureka Sprongs, Beaver Lake, Pea Ridge Military Park, Blue Willow and -Thorncrown chapel. Great visit, great cabin, great natural surroundings. We both highly recommend for a getaway escape from stressful daily world stuff.

This cabin was perfect! The decor is beautiful, the location was just far out enough to be quiet and peaceful but close enough to get into town when we wanted to. The owners thought of everything to make it feel like a home away from home. Would definitely visit again. Thank you Matt and Diane!

If you’re looking for a nice, quiet place to stay with great ambiance, this is the place for you. Though we were just a short drive into Eureka Springs, we found ourselves not wanting to leave the cabin at all. The living space was very comfortable and inviting. If I had one complaint, it would be the road access from the drive. The drive is difficult to see, very steep and very narrow. Still not enough to keep me from renting again. Even considering spending family time there over the holidays.

We loved our stay in this roomy but cozy cabin! Our two kids stayed in the little nook bedroom. Cabin was well-appointed and very charming with the wood walls, exposed trusses, and history. Beds all memory foam and very comfortable. Fire pit and shelter outside with picnic table. Very convenient to downtown Eureka Springs but far enough away to avoid the crowds. Tucked into the woods, it's quiet and peaceful. It has a steep gravel driveway so be aware. This would be a great place to stay even in the winter. We'll definitely be back!

Spent a quiet weekend in Eureka Springs for a bachelorette weekend. The cabin was so cute and we loved the location. Plenty of privacy but close enough to attractions to not feel cut off! Wonderful hosts and I would definitely stay here again!

The Hunters cabin was a great place to stay and close to all that Eureka Springs has to offer. The only bad thing is the entrance to the cabin area. Right off the highway and is very steep and dangerous for motorcycle riders.
