Excellent location - honestly one of the best located stays we've ever booked! Everything within a few minutes walk.

Check in was great with all the info and recommendations you could possibly need.
Upon check-in, we were told not to take long showers due to an issue with the drain. We later realised how unacceptable this was for a holiday rental, particularly when paying to stay somewhere nice.
On our last night, I took a 4–5 minute shower and almost the entire apartment flooded. We spent around 45 minutes mopping it up with towels and trying to dry our belongings, which were on the floor as we were packing to leave the next day.
When I contacted the owner, the response was dismissive, with comments suggesting it would only flood if we had been showering “for hours”. Despite explaining that we had cleaned everything up and were going out for our final night, the owner continued to question what had happened and called twice while we were out.
The issue itself was frustrating, but the way it was handled really tainted our stay. If you are aware of a drainage problem, it needs to be properly fixed rather than expecting guests to work around it.
