Lovely house, nicely decorated and really comfortable sofas and beds and well equipped. Absolutely loved sitting on the deck at the front with a coffee or a drink watching the comings and goings from Weymouth harbour, or enjoying the same view sitting up in bed in the front bedroom. The glorious weather helped immensely!
Not having a freezer in the kitchen was a bit of a pain. We discovered it was in the garage, and having to go down the steep stairs from the front door and open the garage door when we wanted ice or an ice cream was not ideal. We ended up buying a wide neck flask which we filled with ice cubes and kept in the fridge and that worked well. Might not have been such an issue if it hadnt been such warm weather! Also the little lawn at the top of the garden was a bit wild. The lawn was mown but the edges were very brambly and overgrown and the dogs came in covered in grass seed every time they went out there. My fault for having long haired dogs maybe…
