Location was perfect for us. We didn’t discover the local restaurants 12 minutes away until we were getting ready to leave which was a shame as we tried a couple out and they were really good, but nothing was more than 15 minutes and the roads were great for getting about. The bedrooms were beautiful and so were the bathrooms. Plenty of seating in the lounge. Enough crockery. The kids loved the pool, wasn’t freezing cold., good deep end and plenty of space to splash about. Perfect set up for 3 couples, you could bring a child to sleep in the small bedroom attached to the master bedroom and there was a small room with bunk beds. The owner was always on hand if you had a problem, even when your niece looked herself in her room! Really nice guy.
Could have done with a bit more shade around the pool and maybe a patio outside the door of the lounge with a table and chairs. Because of the previous rain (which was needed) we couldn’t use the private garden for eating outside as it was muddy. Outside dining by the pool (as mentioned) would have been perfect. Was really only 3 main bedrooms, then a twin bunk for the boys, which worked, but the fifth room was only really suitable for a family with a child. These are not negatives, just observations.

le grand volume des pièces et la modernité du gîte tout en conservant l'âme du château
des conseils pour être au top: quelques linges et vaisselle en plus.
quand les façades auront retrouvées leurs pierres apparentes ce sera encore plus beau car en arrivant j'ai eu un peu peur que l'intérieur soit décevant et c'est tout le contraire!

Very spacious property and in particular luxurious en-suite bedrooms all with aircon. The tennis court, pool and the gym are great facilities that we took full advantage of. Great location to explore the surrounding area with a boulangerie conveniently situated in Bouhet village for breakfast pastries.
Nothing to dislike!
