Nonie's

Ms. Nonie is a wonderful person! She was kind and helpful and made us feel welcome from the moment she met us at the door. She has a beautiful home equipped with all essentials you need for your overnight stay. She has a microwave, a mini fridge containing water and soft drinks, and a tea and coffee area that even has sugar cubes 😁. There is a kitchen table, futon, pull-out bed, and 1.5 bathrooms. The master bathroom is extremely spacious. Her home and hospitality will now be our new destination each time we come to Ruston! Thank you so much, Ms. Nonie!!!

Location was Excellent - Every place we needed was 2 or less miles! It was lovely to sit on the porch in the mornings!

Not that I didn't know it - but ICE - which I had ice since it was so hot to put in my drink when I left the house...

The approach to the house is great; nice neighborhood and easy to locate. Once there I was greeted by Ms. Johnny, the lady who owns the house, after that she was nice to give us a brief tour of the house. Every room was clean and well designed with an old fashioned air about the place. There are plenty of pictures of her and family in every room showing her long history. The facilities on the property were well stocked. The bed was fantastic with fresh sheets that are layered well and semi firm mattress that is comfortable and provides maneuverability. There are two TVs, both with streaming services, that are located in the living room and bedroom. My partner and I were given privacy with our host only a phone call and short trip away.

Since the house is dated there are some places where the floor creaks, but not enough to be an annoyance. The private bathroom has a shower that is on the small side, but stocked well with liquid soap and shampoo. These are minor knocks to an overall great house provided by a phenomenal host.
