This is our third visit to Cosy Flat. This flat is equipped and furnished to a high standard. Every thing works efficiently and is explained in a very helpful Welcome book. We very much appreciated the items left for us as a welcome. Biscuits, water, tea, coffee and a well stocked cupboard for several meals. We thank you very much. We had originally booked 3 nights and the owner kindly added an extra night to help us enjoy our daughter competing at Chard Equestrian Centre but there is a problem with the access to Cosy Flat - the communal shared walled courtyard where dogs freely rome. Particularly one very large friendly dog. I am an active 78 but have mobility problems with my balance due to an accident.
On previous stays at Cosy Flat we had met the neighbour's dogs. We are both dog lovers and have had dogs as pets. This time we found the friendly dogs just too much for me. Once we were sat down outside Cosy Flat, which we always enjoy, it was fine. Actually getting into the courtyard and getting in and out of Cosy Flat could only be achieved with my Husband holding onto me very tightly. The large dog jumps up and front feet land chest level on me (only 8 stone and a bit) and my balance issues come into play. I shake and I can fall down. They were there to say Good morning as we left and Hello when returned on each trip plus this time Pooh presents were left on our pathway. Instead of sf staying the 4 nights we left on the Saturday just staying 3 nights. We love Cosy Flat but because I am trapped getting in and out - sadly this will be our last visit. Just to say the Flat is fantastic and the small seating area outside which catches the setting sun very enjoyable. If you are fit and Love dogs this really is the place for you.

No breakfast as S/C. The biscuit/nibbles/tea/coffee/choc drinks were very much appreciated also tinned products left for use. The toiletries' were good and scented sticks made a very pleasant atmosphere in the Cosy Flat. Thank you
There was nothing not to like. We have booked again to come back in July. Lived up to its name Cosy Flat. Very comfortable.

Furnishings very high quality , lovely bathroom every thing needed for catering.
Quiet and loved little seating area in courtyard
Super convenient for town pubs and restaurants
Instructions to find parking and property confusing. Too much info could have been clearer and more concise

The property was difficult to find, and it was only by ringing the owner that I eventually gained access. I had been given the wrong access code for the key-box, which had the owner not been present would have been a major problem.
