We are a retired 70 couple who chose this property as a mid-way base camp to return to after bicycling a section of the Erie Canal/Empire State Trail each day between Buffalo and Rochester. It turned out to be a safe, quiet place to relax in after each day's ride and get an early night's sleep for the next day. Off-street parking behind the house felt like our bikes were safe from street traffic.The natural, renovated farmhouse-style reminded me of summers at Grandma's farm -- everything we needed and no unnecessary fancy frills. We appreciated the luxurious towels, duvet, pillows, and natural bath products, as well as the good internet service. Furnishings and carpet-less floors were very easy to clean and sanitize. The modern stove and refrigerator allowed us to cook simple vacation meals with the cookware, dishes, and utensils provided. Local eateries gave us the option of more elaborate dishes. There was good lighting throughout and plenty of outlets available.Our host was readily available if needed. She did not have many guest requirements, other than to enjoy our visit. The property access worked exactly as instructed. As described, the apartment is up a flight of 14 stairs, and there are small steps when transitioning from one room to the other. The bedroom and its balcony get morning light (great for early risers) and cool evening shade. Great tub/shower combo.We visited the nearby Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge on a day too windy for riding.

Nice, clean apartment! Everything I needed was there. Refrigerator was stocked with water when I arrived. Comfortable & nice little balcony off the bedroom!

Nice coffee and breakfast food. Great temperature controls. Comfy towels and wash cloths in bathroom. Distance from bedroom, thru living room & kitchen, then hard right turn to bathroom was a bit long. Maybe living room and bedroom could be switched, so sleeping guests are closer to bathroom. Microwave should be on counter top not on top of refrigerator. This is a danger handling hot liquids exit from microwave. Keypad entrance is a little loose (wobbly) on door -needs tightening. More explanation is needed for keypad entry proceedure. Comfortable, quiet surroundings. Plenty of rest acquired. Will
