Although our apartment had no balcony, you could open the large window and sit watching the world go by on Tartini Square.
Would definitely recommend staying here.

I stayed in the One-Bedroom Apartment and loved how spacious, bright, clean, and comfortable it was. It had high ceilings, a separate eat-in kitchen, furnished living room, bedroom, and private bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the sofa was great for relaxing, and the powerful air conditioning was very welcome in August.
The full-size kitchen was well equipped. One quirky detail I loved was that the kitchen is actually in another house! Despite the central location, the apartment was very quiet and well soundproofed.
The location is excellent for exploring Piran. Grocery stores, a produce market, cafés, restaurants, bakeries, the waterfront, and public swimming areas are all nearby. Beach towels were thoughtfully provided. Piran's swimming areas are generally stone or concrete rather than sandy, so I recommend bringing water shoes.
The hosts were wonderful. I was traveling solo, and they kept in touch to make sure I had everything I needed and offered restaurant suggestions. A bowl of apples and a bottle of local red wine were waiting for me when I arrived.
The hosts also helped me navigate Piran's public parking and move my luggage between my car and the apartment. Mitja carried my bags up and down the stairs and showed me how the building's locks worked. I felt very safe and well cared for during my stay.
I would happily stay here again.
Not really a negative, but something to be aware of: there are a lot of stairs and no elevator. This is a 300-year-old building, and the stairs vary from uneven stone steps to several different styles of interior stairs. Mitja kindly carried my luggage both up and down.
There is also no microwave in the kitchen, which wasn't a problem for me but may be useful to know for a longer stay.

Everything, the place was absolutely perfect for a sray in Piran. The room was nice, the bed was huge, the AC was amazing. The owner was the nice hotel operator I have ever met. He even had sweet little presents for my daughter, this place was a very special place to stay. I highly recommend this place!
Parking is a little tricky, but the owner met us at the garage and helped us with the parking and then drive us to the apt, made it super easy if you have a car.
