Το ξενοδοχείο έχει αλλάξει όνομα αλλά κανείς δεν στο λέει με αποτέλεσμα να το ψάξω σχεδόν 3 ώρες. Φαινόταν βρώμικο και ήταν βρώμικο . Οι τουαλέτα και το ντουζ σε άθλια κατάσταση .

Passable

This hostel is in a good location right next to the city wall and a 5-minute walk from South Gate. Room was large and fairly comfortable and all toiletries provided. The hostel has a WeChat service where you can message directly if something is needed, which was more convenient than going downstairs.

Perfunctory check-in and lack of warm and welcoming attitude. Room was dirty. Hostel advertised a rooftop bar but when I went there it was closed amd there were no staff around. Although the property advertises itself as a hostel, it didn't really feel like one. There was none of the social element of other hostels.

Not as expected

They let me cancel my booking after the first night

It did not look as good as in the pictures, the room was in very poor condition, very dirty and smelly. I don't understand how they have so many good reviews. I had a booking for two weeks, but left after one night. I went to ChengYuchenghao hotel, which was very nice and about the same price (found on trip.com since booking.com seems to not have many hotels in China).

Exceptional

The place is so well located inside the wall, near the metro station (china-near) and the staff was super helpful and helped us to book a trip to the Xian warriors and everything we needed.

Room not as shown and faulty housekeeping

The male owner/manager was accommodating in refunding us two nights when our travel plans changed. The location is okay, although the nearest metro station is still a bit of a walk for Xi'an standards. We paid a very low rate (150 euro) for one week.

First, the room was nothing like the bright rooms in the pictures for the 'standard room' we booked. Because somehow we had been charged a very low rate (about half the normal price), I didn't make a big deal out of it, but I do think the room we stayed in should not be sold as the other 'standard rooms'. It was more like a shed on the roof (no lift to the 4th floor) with an in-room cabin holding the 'bathroom', which in places was taped to the wall and floor. The working desk that was promised in the description, and which I needed, was not present. Some days, we did not get clean towels, shower/bathing gel, toilet paper and water. When we asked about it, they first said 'we're fully booked, so our staff didn't have time to do all rooms' while the second time they said 'we sometimes don't allow the cleaning staff to go into the rooms'. Both explanations are just completely ridiculous. The lady behind the front desk did not come across as very customer-friendly, rarely making eye contact and giving answers like the above. Because the 'room' is in the bright sun on the roof, it got incredibly hot, with the air conditioning never really reaching the programmed temperature.

lousy and bad experience

They put at the roof top with very dim light to access our room. They try to sell rooms down stairs but pay almost double our current rate. I wouldn't recommend anyone to this homestay. Worst ever place to stay.

Great location, cozy and nice staff

Great location just inside the gate. If you follow the city wall to the west, there is a lively morning market with breakfast options and local life. Nice soft bed and space for sitting and enjoying the view. Roof top also great!

You cannot find the hotel on Google maps, so you need to look here at Booking.com and find a nearby place on Google Maps. Also I had to ask for the address in Chinese, which should be written somewhere, as you need to show this to the taxi driver.

Very good

Location is extremely convenient, there are cafes, local restaurants and the park that surround the wall within 5 minutes walking distance, the staff was helpful and polite , and eager to help. The price is unbeatable for the location. Beds were soft yet firm, I had a great sleep every night. The rooftop has great view from the wall and cityscape.

The street was noisy at night, there are lots of bars nearby. The hostel allows smoking, so it was smelly specially the corridor. The toilet was embedded, and the glass door had a gap , not so private if you share a room.

It is overall good but not give what they ask and also charge more according to facilities. T

I like the cleanliness, staff behavior, location. But staff should be more hospitable. I myself put all luggage when I leave. When I arrive, they welcome and put my luggage but when I am check out no one take care of this.

Room size is not enough for people. I mentioned exact age of children and total family members. They only gave a small bed that is enough for two children. Me and my wife slept at the dinning table. They charged more than 200 RMB but still they did not deliver what they said. I thought, bed will be large enough for 4 people but it is only enough for two persons. Then, why administration think that, we can fit in that bed. There should be more facilities. They only provide items for two persons but they book room for 4 persons. Also wash room entrance is so narrow that we hardly open it. It should be spacious.

Great stay with clean and comfy rooms and super friendly staff. You will love Xian if you stay here!

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The whole setup looks very nice and clean and neat. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. They gave me suggestions about where to visit, eat, or get the bike etc. I had a great time and it was a fantastic stay. Definitely exceeded my expectation. I felt right at home and want to go back again!! (Really!!) They told me about the breakfast street (across the street) and the restaurants were so local and authentic and great!! They even use WeChat to keep you in touch just in case you need any help from them. Very efficient too.

Soundproof is moderate. If you have guests with children staying next to you, you may hear them. But that's an exception because children are children. The cleanness and comfort and hospitality are all great as a whole.
